Sector's Edge now has RAYTRACED Ambient Sounds

Hey all, I recently upgraded the audio engine in Sector's Edge to support raytraced wind / ambient sounds.
When outdoors you can hear the wind + deep booms above me, and when indoors you can hear the sounds enter from the doorways and echo around the room.
The audio engine calculates these effects in real time as the environment in Sector's Edge is completely destructible.

    @@Vercidium I'll definitely tune in to hear the changes, thanks. The raytraced audio sounds great, so I really want to check it out for myself. I've always wanted to hear raytraced audio in a game, as I've seen John Lin's Sandbox utilize raytraced audio as well, and it sounds super crisp.

    Why don't triple A titles have this? I was talking with the dev of CyubeVR about Valve's HRTF plugin. Why developers done use these tools is beyond me. Traced audio and binaural...

    Yeah at least HRTF/binaural would be a great addition. The audio engines they choose must not support it?
