I have had this board since it came out and I love it! Its perfect for just about any style of riding. Its light enough and has a great tail to make ollies and other flip tricks easier than it was for me on other boards as well. I have bought others after it and I always come back to it. Overall if your thinking about buying this board, get it! you wont be disappointed! Perfect review Ross. One of the best for this board I've ever seen

Ross, do you plan on continuing to ride the mini daisy or are you going to start using a board from the new downhill division lineup?

I had an Alien 👾 Workshop board back in 99 when I was a kid, I was around 12-13. Didn't ride it much, maybe like 5 times for a quick session. A few months ago my bro bought a kryptonics Walmart 28 in board. I tried it out and said to myself hey this isn't to bad. Only thing I knew is I'm goofy footed so knew where my feet belonged. From there I bought me a penny board for cummuting purposes, then I started watching longboard vids, saw you and others straight shredding it. I said I got ta do that I've always been athletic, I do handstands and backflips and played baseball when I was a kid. I bought me an Arbor Bug PREMIUM 2016 with París V2 150mm 90A Bushings. I had comment somewhere and asked someone if my board is good for sliding the guy said not really good for. I bought myself another board 36 X 9.75 East Side relic board, Cal II 50s 184MM, ABEC 11 CS 73mm 84A. I'm actually sliding now, not like really long slides, but sliding somewhat. I find it really hard to get use to my new board considering I'm switching from Paris to Caliber trucks, they are very restrictive... I've read cals are good for freeride. See I like to make my turns with 1 leg most of the times, the Cal trucks aren't really carvy enough for that one legged turn. I just ordered some softer Bushings 81A orange from venom, hopefully they will be able to get me to turn better. What do you think about them East Side relic board?

Hey Ross!! What do you say on Caliber II 50 Degree 10 inch trucks on mini daisy? I am worried wheels would get in the way of my feet while pushing. Some guy from Tactics also recommended me 9 inch ones. But Also S9 Mini daisy comes stocks with Charger II 10 INCH. So it should't be problem right? Or should I go with some paris trucks? thanks!

Hi, I want to learn so slide in mellow hills and was recommended this board. But if this is a board which is good for downhill its may not be the best for me, since I will not be going that fast..? And since I'm not as experienced it may be hard to footbreak with this one? And do I benefit from this kicktail if I will not go off ground? Pleas help. Btw: Im 65" and have small feets.

  • @Aventador264

Just got the board and thinking of upgrading the trucks to either Caliber II's or Louis Pilloni Pro Reverse trucks. I already replaced the wheels with the race formula 70mm's. Which would be better for stability at high speeds and just good for overall downhill.

+Tactics Boardshop Loving the new caliber ii's, done some serious fast downhill, and some fun freeride. I've been riding on the stock bushings with the caliber ii's. Im thinking of getting some 87a venom bushings. I weight 110 pounds and im 5"4. What hardness should I get for downhill and freeride?

Hey Ross! I hope you respond! I have some questions about this amazing board. First of all, What is your set up that you show in the video?(Trucks, Wheels, ...) 2.How would it feel if there were S9 sidewinders instead of original trucks? Would it be worth the price or sidewinders are just not needed on this desk? 3.Landyachtz Peacemaker or Mini daisy(desk)? 4.What are the new features of Mini daisy 2015? 5. More serious one, I am from Slovakia but I would really love to order this board from your site, but I am too afraid of paying more money while it will be transporting (Duties and Taxes) what's your advice? :)

YoProMama 1. The set up Ross has in the video is the Sector 9 mini daisy deck, Gullwing reverse trucks, and some sector 9 prototype wheels (not released). 2. You shouldn't get sidewinders for this deck, just dont. get some Caliber II 50 degree trucks and you'll be set! :) 3. Get the mini daisy, more stable and better suited for what you said you wanted in a deck. 4. Nothing different, just the graphic 5. email tactics?

I'm sure it would work. I wouldn't want to bomb a hill with the Sidewinders though, they're too tall and not as stable. This board has a shorder wheelbase so your turning radius on this deck with the Gullwing Sidewinders would be crazy! Cheers! - Tim
