It's not scripted but guided. Since, they actually show their true feelings and their true self. And whenever it's time to say goodbye, they cried real tears.

I watched School 2015 first before WGM. I'm really rooting for Eunbi and Taekgwang, because the show didn't give justice for the two. When I'm struggling moving on, I searched other drama of sungjae for me to move on. I SAW WGM, WTF I DIDN'T EXPECT TO LIKE IT SO MUCH, I MEAN, THE CHEMISTRY IS NO JOKE. I'm a Bbyu shipper until now 😂

omg same with me! i shipped eunbi and taekwang for a long time but once i found joy and sungjae in wgm i love them at the first sight. yes you're right! their chemistry is no joke!

I used to think too that Sungjae prefers Sohyun over Joy or something. But looking at the recent episodes of wgm and how the other btob members treat Joy, I feel like theres a chance Sungjae likes Joy for real now. Btob members treat her like a real sis in law, even offcam. Also, yes the activities they do in wgm are scripted but their actions are obviously not.

I agree with you :D They have been together since last year although it is not continuous meeting. You can see in their eyes and actions that they are true and not scripted. I can see also that they have been really comfortable with each other and they found themselves as a comfort zone too. :)

+namstarr-r agree. every show in korea are scripted but variety show isn't 100% scripted like in the drama. They might told the couple to go somewhere or do something or say something. But I guess they won't give them like a script for what should they say since WGM doesn't feel like scripted drama

I'm so sad. :( I think he likes joy now but just as friend. I'm happy seeing them together on WGM but now he really disappointed me in the latest Dream concert this month. :( if he thinks Joy is his girl, why he has to call the camera to film Sohyun at Dream concert? Why? Sungjae yaaa!, Why you had to do that? That could hurt Joy feeling! I'm really disappointed and gonna give up on this ship. :((

The show itself might be scripted, but their feelings for each other?, I can clearly see that it's genuine. During the early period of wgm, Joy said that saying I love you is too early to say to SungJae, SungJae also said that I love you should not say to anyone easily during their visit to MBC but while during their date on an amusement park while during school uniform. Joy said "Oppa saranghae", and SungJae immediately answered "nado, saranghae" without hesitation. That episode made me believed that they really fell for each other. I mean if I were Joy I will surely fell for Sungjae, every girls dreams made Sungjae possible for Joy and Joy is every guy's ideal woman.

Yonghwa and Seohyun were on the show too, seohyun interacted with some male idols too but they weren't all like "SEOHYUN YOU BROKE YONGHWAS HEART" I get it though the more younger the fans are the more fighting there is...

Im still watching this even though years had passed... Sungjae and Sohyun are my ship since School 2015...

He likes Sohyun as a sister. In fact, he already said that on a radio show. His care for Sohyun is genuine because he sees her as his little sister. The fact that he accepted wgm proved that. It doesn't really matter if he was partnered with Joy. He accepted it. He wanted to experience it. Whether it is scripted or not. We don't really know him. We can't judge his feelings by just watching videos that might be scripted as well. We don't have to blame Joy or Sohyun or the show itself. These interviews were just made to promote their drama, let's face it. Wgm can be scripted, let's accept it. We don't have to start fanwars like blank is better than blank or blank doesn't deserve blank. I'm not being biased. Let's just ship our preferred couple without bringing the other down. Both sides, calm down.

Joy said she's so touching bcause she met a good husband & Sungjae kept promise her that he will only look at her & bla bla & then now he invite his female costar to hang out with him =.= I know Wgm is just a show but at least it's a reality show, I like Sungjae but this make me feel bad & worried about Joy 's feeling bc I know she will always smile in the show & pretend to be ok, all girls when they got hurt feeling are all like that & all the boys especially good-looking boy will always promise sweet things to you & never keep it lol :-|

Joy fans who kept dragging Sungjae and Sohyun. I’ve been reading comments and not a single one put hate comments to Joy(her fans kept pressing as if she’s always a victim & mistreated). She has been interacting to male idols/actors and not a single Sungjae fans dragged her! And Why is everything always competition to you. “Who is better, who is more popular, joy came from SM (big 3) , joy is cuter, etc... even some have said Joy is more successful to Sung-jae. Who needs him? She deserves better than him. “ And seriously those are hurtful words being a BTOB/Sungjae fan. They been through a lot of mistreatments. Sungjae has been working his ass to earn a name. To at least put a spotlight to his Hyungs/BTOB. It has been hard competing with big 3. At least give him the Respect he earned in the industry. All 3 Sungjae, Sohyun & Joy have been working hard to earn a name and they all deserved only the best! So please stop putting hateful comments to any of them! The reveluv said Joy has a life and a money she can buy what she want, she doesn't need a money from someone else. As a Melody i feel offended and ashamed on Joy's fanbase because that shipper who also happened to be a melody bcs of wgm sounded like she's saying Joy only relies on Sungjae. Completely agree with you! While I’m a bbyu shipper, I love Sungjae and Joy as individuals and respect Sohyun as the talented actress that she is. Shippers shouldn’t drag down Sohyun just because she was paired with Sungjae, and they shouldn’t also discredit the work of Joy and Sungjae as individuals. Both have shown immense growth since WGM, and they’ve become much more mature people who have pursued different projects. While I love them in WGM and hope for them to be together, we have to face the truth that almost none of their projects are at all related to each other.

+Joy bunny Yes,it is scripted of course.. it's drama..of course it is scripted.. but outside,, during interview like this,press conference ..it is not scripted ..they talked freely and comfortably .. when the press conference.. maybe the part for them to introduce their character in that drama was scripted too. but after they told about the character.. they talked freely.. you can watched the press conference in entertainment weekly :)

I don't think they would risk their identity if they would only fake on a reality show. he also said, that his ideal types are less meaningful. He said he was so fixated in dating and finding women within his ideal type but said that since he met Red Velvet’s Joy, it became meaningless as love could change your ideals and views.

I Ship Sungjae and sohyun because they know each other for a very long time (they also do dramas, mc, tv ads,etc. together) I know maybe this interview is scripted also but what if the behind the scenes of this is that they laugh and talk things alot more... and for sungjae and joy they only know for each other on WGM and for sure their behind the scenes is that they also laugh and talk alot more and for sure they grow alot of feelings for each other but not that strong feelings unlike sohyun and sungjae... tbh I love joy (she's actually my bias in rv) but I have to be honest I think sungjae and sohyun have much more stronger feelings for each other..

Lala Bambam have you watched them on WGM? You will understand why many people ship sungjoy if you watch it, eventhough you may not feel the same (I doubt it tho because Sungjae and Joy are so adorable haha)

Ik WGM is scripted but Joy and Sungjae feelings are not scripted and Btob members really love their sister in law during or after WGM.

Yes so true! SungJoy was real... I don't think they would risk their identity if they would only fake on a reality show. he also said, that his ideal types are less meaningful. He said he was so fixated in dating and finding women within his ideal type but said that since he met Red Velvet’s Joy, it became meaningless as love could change your ideals and views.
