You can book transfers for a fee.

I swore this off when I heard you have to ride to the beach. Seeing the grounds doesnt change my opinion so far. Nov 16-19 looks like that will be plenty of time here.

I really didn't mind the ride to the beach. I did miss ocean views.

Whats the difference between this one AND the Akumal, AND wich Is better??

I would not like all of the sand either on my feet. The one part of the beach I don't like is feeling when I leave that I didn't get all of the sand off of my feet.

I just got back a week ago from this resort and stayed 3 nights. Thanks for validating my impression that this resort is very difficult to get around because of the round nature of the buildings...I had to ask 3 staff how to get to the Bluewater Grill, lol. Just an add about the breakfast buffet, they have 2 live cooking stations for breakfast--one is of course for omelets/eggs, and the other on the far right is the chilaquiles station where they will make individual bowls of chilaquiles with either red or green sauce right in front of you. Very tasty by the way. The person manning it always seemed to get a later start, I found it unavailable prior to around 9 a.m. Thanks for the very detailed info!

@@TripswithAngie Me too, I just encountered one at Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya on the same trip. Secrets Tulum station was manned and they served each guest who wanted some. I always look for chilaquiles on my Mexico vacations, lol!

Lovely resort, but too far from the airport for me. My limit is an hour, ideally less than that.

I think I mentioned it in the video. It's about an hour from the Tulum airport.

I just spent a week at the resort and the layout is super confusing - especially with all the tequila! lol

I did not fly into Tulum. There are very few all inclusive resorts in Tulum. I don't recommend an all inclusive if you want a true Tulum experience.

The beach is just too far away. Why would they build this awesome Resort 4 1/2 miles away from the beach?

Do you have a favorite Tulum hotel?

Not a fan of this resort :( just came back and not heated pools when weather was chilly, others hotels with way more affordable prices offer heated pools or even some jacuzzis around the resort, this was not having any jacuzzi just in the spa with extra charge. you were luck on coco cafe I just saw plain normal muffins and 2 kind of pastries cut in half to make the last more! 😮 Good points on this resort: food was good in buffet and love the Peruvian-japanese restaurant🫶🏼 Amazing service from staff and even that this resort is not front seat, beach club was fancy and had good food options and healthy bar offerings smoothies which I loved.

I think a lot of resorts have trouble with pool temperature in January.
