Pay it down. Visit tax office see what you can get. Shop for cheaper insurance rates. Oh that last one is tricky. They are so clever these insurance companies. Thanks for advice

If you get your house reassessed for the 20% value increase, won’t that cause your taxes to increase as well? So won’t that null out any PMI savings???

The lender appraising your house has nothing to do with the county/city tax assesor appraising your house. Your taxes will generally go up as your home value increases, but 2 different groups and they are not in communication with one another as far as value. So you could continue to pay PMI as your city/county increases your taxes based on their value of your home. As soon as you can, cancel your PMI.

Hornestead will always help the overall property tax bill to be lower than if you didn't have the exemption. However, as the value of your home increases, your property taxes will also increase. Thanks for watching

FHA loans have mortgage insurance for the life of the loan unless you put down more than 10% and then it stays for 11 years. So try your best to decrease your escrows, if possible using the tips in this video. If you bought a house in the last 3-4 years it likely does not make sense to refinance. Don't " date the rate marry the house." That's for sure. Worst piece of advice I have ever heard in regards to purchasing a house. The best way to save is to stop overpaying for these homes. The math doesn't math. Interest rates are sky high along with purchase prices. Then you have to factor in taxes. Which will continue to go up because of the scam that is called market value. As long as others in your purchase area keep purchasing at these high prices, what happens when that new tax assessment comes out? Yep, increased taxes on that new assessment. Then you have insurance companies just out here running around unchecked. Layoffs, and businesses closing? Good luck
