The only one on Travis level of arm wrestling knowledge is Devon. But it's different knowledge. Between those 2 they know nearly everything.

@@loydchristmas23 I agree 100%. The difference is that Devon has the gift of stamina and prefers to gain positional advantage then drain the opponent. He talks about pinning not being the point, the point being to gain position. Travis has the gift of explosiveness, to him it's all about pinning as fast and efficiently as possible using the least amount of effort and stamina.
Travis is the first of the greats whose "loony" ideas actually make sense to me bio-mechanically, like not having a tucked-in elbow, clenching your fist the way grippers teach you to bend your wrist slightly backwards, not having a wide stance, etc., all that he discussed here is basically my all-time pet peeve with the "standard" seminars I hear from others, like I always thought there's something wrong with me since I don't get it. But he's the first one making sense (again, to me).

He definitely nails this one. I usually pick up something from each seminar I see but everything he said truly makes sense. I pin a lot of people faster in his sorta fashion when using the techniques he goes over so they definitely work 🦾
Travis's technique is so underrated. Any highknuckle posting toproller needs to hear this.

This technique is the only one Have, very efficient and difficult to decode because people have little time to deconstruct it before they win/lose
This is all so specific to his body and his style. He's broken it down to such an incredible degree it's very impressive. However, if you're bigger than travis, like devon or vitaley or levan, you can't take a narrow stance like him because you'd be waaaay above the level of the table. And the fist thing is great if you're an explosive posting toproller, if you're an inside puller or even more of a low hand guy it doesn't work quite as well because you rely on wrist flexion more for your attacks
I always wondered what Randy Savage looked like with a haircut, beard trim, and without the silly clothes. I shoulda known he would be a good arm wrestler.

@Midgeon Mac It seems he has the least wear and tear on his joints and on his organs while remaining relevant for 2 decades so it seems something is working for him. Still, it would be nice to see him train super hard for 2 years straight and bulk up as big and strong as possible and just see him smash everyone. I think he's too into himself to make that kind of sacrifice for the sport or for the viewers.

Do you squeeze and make a fist in the straps the same as you do out the straps

Can you post a timestamp, if you mean the training bands almost every brand is same. But if you're talking armwrestling straps there are far too many cheap functioning ones out there.
