This is James Holbrook using another CO's google. This one video has taught me so much. I heard someone in a live video say males make you famous, but your females make your yard. I finally get why. I'm still going to buy my boy, which at this point will help me learn the American Bully without having to watch for heat cycles. Having said that, I finally get why Raul puts his emphasis on his females. I GET IT!!! However, having said that. You get a stud like Fireball he will push his traits into his females. Can't wait to swab and Embark my puppy that will be living with me soon. I'm thick headed, but once it sinks into my thick head, it's hard for me to forget. Thank you for the teaching Fam!!!!

Always come to your channel for the best advice on bullies diet and breeding. My other account is "darkmoor" if you have seen and remember me before with my other comments. Should I feed my 4 year old XL female cinnamon as a supplement? Will this still have the same effect on growth hormone like it does with bully 18 months or older? I think you should not feed pregnant female cinnamon due to the effects on their uterus, but when they are not pregnant will cinnamon do anything other than joint inflammation relief? Also, how do you transition from kibble from raw during winter? Any specific videos where you talk about this? Thanks.

I just line bred my 2 Fawn Bullies on accident and I got 4 line bred females and 2 line bred males. Males are white with blue or brown patch. Females are blue Fawn and black tri. If I can only keep 1 which do I keep? The mom of the parents is a blue nose

outcross first and then come back to your line. Are you describing coefficient of relationship or coefficient of inbreeding? They are not the same thing. You need to understand the difference. An uncle to niece mating creates a 37.5% coefficient of relationship, but only a 9.63% coefficient of inbreeding. A grandfather to grand-daugther breeding creates a 62.5% coefficient of relationship, but a 12.5% coefficient of inbreeding. A half sibling mating creates a 50% coefficient of relationship but a 12.5% coefficient of inbreeding. A full sibling mating creates a 50% coefficient of relationship on TWO parents, not one, and a 25% coefficient of inbreeding. You need to understand these numbers. Look up Wright's equation and Hardiman's equation. They mathematically determined how far, is too close. Coefficient of inbreeding is approximately 1/4th of the coefficient of relationship. So a parent to offspring breeding will create a 75% coefficient of relationship, but a 25% coefficient of inbreeding. Also, are you using Wright's equation, and this is a pedigree-based COI, or this is a number based on an Embark test? Actual COI, as measured by Embark DNA results are not the same as pedigree-based COI, which is a mathematical prediction of risk. So if you're describing a 25% PEDIGREE (or mathematical) value, (not Embark genetic tested value), that's same as full sibling mating, or parent to offspring mating. Too high already. You need to outcross, or you will double up on recessive traits and start seeing genetic health issues or infertility and smaller litter sizes will come into play. You are losing hybrid vigor too much at this point. Your blood is already equal to a full sibling mating. Far too close. Outcross immediately to avoid issues is my advise to you.

I have now a litter, it started years ago, full siblings brother-sister, than I picked one male form that and bred him with his mother, and now female from that I've bred with Old male from first breeding... Now you count what that is 😂 But all perfectly healthy, because I had eliminated all the dogs with bad genes from breeding... So they are more healthy now than before

Are xl bullies good guard and protection dogs? I have contacted a few other breeders and 50 percent of them say that they are not great protection dogs and are better family dogs and the other fifty percent say that they are great with the family and are great protection dogs that are always on alert.
