Why is kings shocks mostly popular in the dessert racing community because from what I seen every trophy truck and class 1 buggy are all using kings compared to Fox

They are one stop shop, their R&D is second to none. Fox is good, but it’s not a king, like I said their R&D makes a huge difference in the support you get, with that in mind they also take in data from racers and teams/mechanics that maintain these teams trucks. Then you have the proven performance, these things are put through hell and survive. Fox has a great setup too but they tend to run on lighter setups, there is also the pairing options. Some teams run kings as primaries and use fox as secondaries on for dampening purposes. Once you get what works for you and your team you usually don’t want to change
So these engines don't last much eh?
