It's a condition known as bulimia nervosa. They eat large quantities of food and later vomit everything. That's why they don't get fat.

I agree with everything except where you said competitive eating doesn’t require physical practice. Cause it does require practice and if you notice, no competitive eater that is successful is overweight because they can’t eat as much in one sitting.

You have no idea what you're talking about, do you think Joey only competes in the Nathan's Hot Dog competition each year? He competes in and wins almost everything enters. Look at his Wikipedia page, he has more records than anybody by a lot.

Eh below average. Me and all of my buddies are over 700lbs, under 6 feet tall and eat at least 64 hot dogs for an appetizer then 89 double cheeseburgers for lunch, 32 family size bags of lays potato chips for after noon snack, then 78 steaks for dinner with 55 loaded baked potatoes with extra bacon bits for dinner, then 72 tubs of ice cream for dessert then whatever’s left in the fridge for a midnight snack.

I think athletics specifically refers to physical sports or games. Being extremely skilled in a video game doesn't make you an athlete, but it does make you a professional in that sport/game at the highest caliber.

@@TheDarshmiso You realize these guys eat food challenges 2+x a week at times and been doing it for decades. If they throw it up every time they would have serious health complications. Competitors have already said a lot of food does not get digested because there is too large of a volume passing through. So lots of poop instead, the more you know :)

All right let's not just start calling everybody a fucking athlete because they spend time and dedication on their craft. So do doctors and lawyers. It's okay to call certain things contests and it's okay to say he's really good at it and a master at it. Eating food does not make you an athlete just because you're competing for sport.
