@@polljones8921 and others. Still that credit and ovation for that gal is very well deserved. Prolly might not have had the same amount of notice as with other girls at the beginning of the line. Plus might've been more of a challenge had you've been in her shoes with only a pillow to fall back to. A "great job!" Applies to every one of the team nonetheless though! Especially to those in the middle ofc! Back and front included. Grats and a job well done!🥂 Now stay safe and healthy doves!💖 Edit: not everyone notices it instantly. Kinda blends with the costume admittedly. And attention's prolly focused at the beginning of the fall. Or middle. Anyways that's that. Is what it is. Have a lovely and warming evening y'all!🕊️

When I went to see it mid way through the fall they had a mishap and started actually falling very fast, but before the whole line had fell someone had regained balance and they continued normally.

This is very hard to do, but these women do it so perfect. It's really beautiful to see. I saw the Rockettes do this in the Passion Play for Christmas 1983 at Radio City Music Hall. It was absolutely Beautiful! Great job, ladies. Keep doing it.

I just saw this last week at Radio City Music Hall during their fabulous Christmas Spectacular show. I was amazed to see the soldier fall because back in 1957, when I was in second grade and taking ballet lessons in Leavenworth, KS, about a dozen of us little girls were marching soldiers in the year end recital "Snow White". I always assumed it was somehow part of the Snow White ballet (for whatever reason!). So here was the same choreography, costumes, and music 64 years later and it turns out that this originated with the Rockettes in the 1930's. But it was so funny to remember how our ballet instructor tried so hard with us little marching soldiers to pull off this falling routine and how the last half of the girls always got squashed and burst into tears! So they dropped that from our routine. I think the Rockettes are amazing when they do it! It is not easy!!

Hahaha as a retired competitive dancer/cheerleader, I’ve also experienced overly ambitious dance teachers 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ their intentions are great but trying to teach kids/teenagers who do dance and cheer as a hobby, or even competitively but they also have a life, is very hard haha! Dancers like the Rockettes have to give up their whole life to rehearse and perform, and since they’re adults, they have a lot more years of training. My coaches and teachers always tried to push us but sometimes you’re like “really, girl?” 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ hahaha

I admire these women so much. I saw concentration, no giggling, serious dancers getting a beloved routine down pat.

These women are athletes and I love watching them. If I ever get to New York City again, I'm definitely going to try and see them. Iconic!

Each and every one of these young ladies are incredibly talented, not to mention what it really takes to do everything they do, amazing!!!

I’m glad they kept this performance in the Rockettes Christmas Show.

What a lovely video. The girls are doing an amazing job, learning and performing so complex a series of falls. And it is an iconic part of the show. Hats off! Or on.

By far the best performance of the Radio City Rockettes when I saw them in person a week before Christmas. I highly recommend to anyone visiting NYC around the Holidays to take in this performance. You won’t be disappointed.

Watched the show long time ago. Amazing experience! Loved it so much!

I remember I saw the show the first time I went to New York and got to be in the 3rd line it was so exciting and it sparked my love for theatre and acting

always dreamed of being a rockette as a dancer myself but knew it was futile because i’m not tall enough. i remember one coming to teach our dance class years ago and learning how to do the kick line. they bring out the child in me. love it.

They make it look so fluid!

I watched the rockets at Opry when I was a girl scout and I'm so glad I did. I watched a piece of history. All the women are beautiful and I cant tell they work so hard. Makes me proud to be a woman

I was so tense all the while I was watching this video.

I saw this last Friday in NYC and it was amazing!

Having only seen the DVD version of the Christmas Spectacular, This is my #2 favorite moment. #1 is the 12 Days of Christmas (when the ladies stop and pant, then go right back into the choreography). I am not sure that I could handle the awesomeness of seeing this show live (not kidding). If I don't pass out, I'm sure I would hear an usher whisper, "Ma'am, we need you to either calm down or wait in the lobby" ☺ But it's on my Bucket List. #Fan4Life
