Secrets Of The Dog Park - Basset Hound

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Basset Hounds puppies grow to be charming dogs. Of all the dog breeds a basset is among the friendliest, more so than german shepard, yorkie or english bulldog. Dog breeders often put basset hound dogs in the same class as english bulldog and cavalier king charles spaniel, but as pets for sale goe, a basset hound, pound for pound, has more charm than a pomeranian, yorkshire terrier, and miniature schnauzer put together! If you're looking for puppies for adoption, the basset dog breed is a dog adoption you should consider!

My Basset Riley goes to the dog park every day. He is a nice hybrid model so he can play with the big dogs or small dogs without a problem. He is nicknamed the sheriff because he likes to stand in the middle of the group and bark while the others run around him in a big circle. He barks out the rules and then makes sure they all play fair.

We were lucky to find a 7 year old basset hound, tri colour, on the internet for sale. When we got him he was very over weight but happy. He was very lazy but that suited me. I walked him a few times a day and he became my best friend. The last year of his life he smelled all the time despite his baths and at the very end would whine almost non stop. Six years after we got him he was grey in the face and losing bowl control. The vet said it was time and he had a painless passing. I still love and miss him.

I have a Basset Hound named Austin, he's a complete joy, a little comedian. Very trainable. He's very intelligent and just aims to please you. Though the breed can be stubborn. He's also quite the talker to. He just has so much spunk for such a little dog (I say little because he's just a puppy) He learned his name in two days, and learned the command sit in one day. He can do them now without any treats or bribes. He is only 8 weeks old. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old.

Awesome! I have a basset, named Martha. She just knows she is queen of the dog park. If you are considering a basset, know this... they are not really trainable. However they are extremely bribeable. If you need some comedy and love in your life, a basset is a great choice.

Those Bassets are dangerous beasts. I saw one at the dog park and I nearly went weak after looking her in those droopy eyes. Next thing I knew, I was on my knee, completely under her control. Luckily the owner was familiar with the symptoms and managed to help me before I went completely stupid. lol

Our basset hound Roscoe P. passed away 2 months ago today. Roscoe was much beloved by his family but he was very aggressive to strange dogs & sometimes even to his brothers & sister pups. He wanted to be the only dog in the house. There will never be a dog that is as loving, funny, silly or one who loves his love as much as a basset hound. Roscoe had one fault and we loved him to the moon & back anyway.

I am reading this and just coming up on the anniversary of Paladins Death. His one fault was bones. I would have to throw 5 or 6 out at the same time, or Pal would start a fight with Buddy (and lose). Even with a bunch out, Pal would have 3 or 4 big beef bones in his mouth & was so upset that Buddy had one to eat. It was strange because they never fought over another thing their whole lives.

When I'm out with him and I can't take him into a store or a restroom, I leave him with one of my friends outside of the place, and he doesn't go more than 5 feet from where he saw me walk in. Rusty Buddy played a game with my youngest son. my boy would try fast as he could to reach out and pinch buddy on the foreleg, as soon as he reached, buddy would try with his vary front teeth (never his canines) to just pinch my son on his bicep. Bubby won 9 times out of 10. Never once did he draw blood, yet he would pinch just hard enough to make my son jump. They both loved the game, even if my boy would end up with half a dozen red marks on his arm.
