I lived nearby the Alamo Reservation (Navajo) growing up and I would visit my friends (who lived there) often. They truly treat Skinwalkers as completely real and have unwritten curfews and boundaries to avoid encounters with them. The reservation also had a “Medicine Man” that was highly respected. He would practice witchcraft in order to heal as well as protect the people from dark magic. Pretty crazy.

I just barely found out about skinwalkers today. In south Mexico Guerrero (a rural area) they have that too but with different beings. The most popular ones are elfs/small bipedal beings. It's bizarre that they talk about them as if they exist and is super common. I never knew things like this existed in the U.S.

Here in the Philippines we have our own version of skinwalker too , we called it “aswang”. Very similar, they form into animals too mostly in a dog or a bird form. They’re really active in rural places HAHAHA. Well it’s a legend or what we filipinos called “kwentong bayan”.

It's funny because even European people have their own "skinwalker" legends. Like werewolves and witches that turn into cats! I think all cultures have their own "humans that can turn into animal" legends, which makes the idea of it being legitimate a lot more persuasive.

Water moccasin venom acts fast and they are highly agressive. They literally chased me on my back while I peddled home past the ponds. My neighbor came out and axed it before it got into my wheel. Legitimately, one of the scariest moments as a child. With that story I can see how even one snake can take down a man on a horse--the only that chased me was SIX FEET long.

Those give me bad anxiety, whereas these I can listen to to help me sleep; or I can listen to them while painting, cleaning, or playing minecraft. I can't listen to some of the other episodes, but I can actually listen to and enjoy these kinds of episodes multiple times

Here’s a fun one for you guys. According to George Knapp in the book there’s a wacky story by some people who I think were Native American rangers or cops. I don’t exactly remember that part of the story but these guys supposedly shine their lights on someplace they saw some activity and what they saw were two dogheaded men in large jackets smoking cigarettes. In the commotion they waved the light around and when they got it fixed on the spot again the cigs were on the floor and nothing else lol. I love this story because of how wackadoo it is. It reminds me of that Cartoon Network show courage the cowardly dog. All of skinwalker ranch actually reminds me of that show now that I think about it.

My grandparents own 10 acres of land over in Oklahoma and the adjacent land was previously owned by an older woman who had a bunch of cows; the woman was known as the "crazy lady" because she swore that her cows were being taken by UFOs. The deadbolts were for keeping the evil spirits out. One thing about the evil spirits is, you must allow them in, mentally, emotionally, psychologically. I wonder if Terry could have sold the mutilated cows to be butchered for their meat. The more views a show gets the more Utube packs in advertising. I stopped watching TV when a 30 minute show was 13 minutes of content and 17 minutes of advertising.

Josh and Joel, great podcast it definitely creeps me out hearing about skinwalker ranch. 😱 About 3 minutes north of tinker air force base off of Douglas there is a park/waterpark/golf course. I was driving next to the golf course when I noticed what looked like a UFO in the sky. It was about 10 pm and pitch black over the golf course. Still creeps me out just thinking about it. My boyfriend said "what is that?? It looks a car but once we were close I realized its hovering just over some short trees and not making any kind of noise. He then said okay then its a helicopter and yet still, no noise and no propellers on the top. Once we got parallel with it I could see the shape, It was that classic disk shape that most ufo sightings are with the middle of the disk shape protruding out the most. Once we seen this thing we tried thinking logically like there is no way we just seen a UFO. My boyfriend lives about 5 minutes from the base and there are huge planes flying over constantly but this wasn't the case it had white lights in the front and red lights in the back. I thought maybe it could be some kind of military drone but that doesn't make sense as to why they were in the middle of Midwest city at a golf course let alone in the middle of the night. Why wouldn't they be on base?? I swear I seen a UFO that night and I haven't seen anything like it in that area. Everytime we drive past it, i look up and see nothing.
