Source of all knowledge is Veda which is taught by Brahma Deva. The complete knowledge is in Upanishads, Purans, Darshan shastras, Ramayan and Mahabharat. If studied these scriptures, one will get Moksha and will go beyond suffering. The goal of life is mind development and reach to Moksha. There are four paths - Bhaktiyog, Rajyog, karmayog, Dnyan yog. Four Purusharth - Dharm, Arth, Kaam, Moksha. All the knowledge is about these four. Sanatan Dharma gives importance to gaining knowledge and mind development. Hence there are 64 Kala and 14 Vidya. As per Vishnudhatmottar purana, The goal of art is to please god. It is by pleasing god, all the siddhi and wealth are achieved in life. Hence there are art forms, puja, stotra and mantra chanting and temple building. It is by connecting to god within, life becomes auspicious and happy. This is the Sanatan Dharma.

I am ayurvedic doctor and while studying Grantha we were astonished when we read the procedure written in ayurveda grantha . It was such an advanced science those days that whole world stole it from us and we were told that you Indian ayurvedic are Zolachhap doctors and western allopath is the only scientific branch of medicine ! *How was Nalanda University:* The center had eight separate compounds, 10 temples, meditation halls, classrooms, lakes and parks. It had a nine-storey library where monks meticulously copied books and documents so that individual scholars could have their own collections. It had dormitories for students, perhaps a first for an educational institution, housing 10,000 students in the university’s heyday and providing accommodations for 2,000 professors. Nalanda University attracted pupils and scholars from Korea, Japan, China, Tibet, Indonesia, Persia and Turkey.

*How was Nalanda Destroyed:* Nalanda was ransacked and destroyed by Turkish MoosIim invaders, also called MamIuks, under Bakhtiyar KhiIji in 1193 AD. The great library of Nalanda University was so vast that it is reported to have housed more than 9 million manuscripts. According to traditional Tibetan sources, the library at Nalanda University was spread over three large multi-storeyed buildings. One of these buildings had nine storeys that housed the most sacred manuscripts. The library burned for three months after the invaders set fire to the buildings. The Muslim invaders ransacked and destroyed the monasteries and drove the monks from the site.

As long as our countrymen depend solely on the government, things will be slow in movement! There should be a Bhartiya forum to make our demands audible and clear to the government, Even after independence, the country people are deprived of many things due to corruptions, it's high time, we speak up! Abhijitji I very appreciate this talk with Sahana Singh. My simple question is why we still pronounce गुरुकुल as gurukulaa, वेद as vedaa and so on. It has become a fad to pronounce योग as yoga and I find this quite objectionable. Will we pronounce an English word or a word from some other language ? So why this step motherly treatment to our own language ? I hope this will be taken onboard.

Nahi, hamaari jo bhasha hai hame allow karti hai to be able to spell each and every literal word in this world with ease, ise sanskruti kehte hai, to ham kyu hamare khudke shabdo ko "a" se jod de, gurukul kaho, yog kaho, dhyaan karne ko bhi log meditation karna hai kehte hai, thoda to apni sanskruti se judo, what an insult to be listening to people like these. One thing I know is that they are very literate, knowledgeable and to the point people, but most times they just feel like pseudo hindutvavadis jab ye aisi cheeze karte hai.

Ashoucha or getting dirty/impure - As per ancient Sanathani/Bharatiya, a person can get dirty through physical and mental channels. If you physically get dirty or you're in an unclean environment, it can impact your concentration or thought process. Similarly, if your mind is perturbed by bad/negative thoughts or loss of wealth/family member, it would impact your focus, e.g.- people used to stop all kinds of worship for a few days whenever there was a death in the family. Hence, importance was given to mental and physical hygiene/cleanliness for those focused on Vedic studies / Meditation / achieving higher power, etc., which was in the case of Brahmins.

Whatever your solution to whatever, do not forget the truths hidden in science and the the scientific methods. The ancients were great BUT NOT INFALLIBLE because they were not aware of the methods of the real truth (innocently). Admire them but do not worship them. Your brain, thoughts and feelings are just as great as theirs and you have MORE TOOLS AT YOUR DISPOSAL, but a tougher task than just following their teachings. Living today is just as beautiful but more complex.
