I am wondering, do you or the gentleman in the video have or plan to or know about a good chanel to learn how to saw or tailor clothes. Basics are very ok. :D I just have this cheap coat (under £20 ... I think it was abou £15) that I like but it has no tailoring. It is good in the shoulders and chest yet I am very thin and the coat makes me bit ... Barrel-ous

It makes them instantly more attractive to me, I'm more attracted to a man in Regency clothes than modern clothes. I am a Regency Reinactor so I often am wearing a regency dress and I love going to regency balls. The gentlemen there are very handsome and so wonderfully charming. I never want to leave because the people I meet there are lovely and the men are all so gentlemanly and is wonderful. It's a wonderful escape from the modern world. And as I've said to meet true gentlemen in this day and age is amazing and gives hope. One of my teachers did say a man who enjoys the work of Jane Austen (as many regency events are based around Jane Austen) makes an ideal husband as they are likely to pick up on the positive attributes of the men in the books which is want most women want.

Autumn is my favorite season, so I'm excited for the colors and the smells that come with it. 😍 My dream day is the sweet, crisp smell of an Autumn rain blowing in through my window while I sip my favorite blueberry white tea and dive in deep to a heavy book for hours. It gives me tingles just imagining it. 😁🥰

I totally agree about something being made for you and that making it comfortable! My corset is 10x more comfortable than any modern bra, and that is because I made it for my body, altered it, had all these fittings. Not because it's stretchy or old, but because it *fits*. Tailoring is such a lost art, since I made my corset I've gone on a mission to alter all my clothes and make them fit better, and OH MY GOD I look and feel so much better.

Like the other person said it emphasizes a Mans natural V shaped torso. I'll also add it emphasizes arms as well ...And properly fitted clothes just looks better in general. Most men today buy off the rack clothes that have a generic fit and isnt always flattering. Alternatively you could say men like women who wear clothes that emphasize their hourglass figure because thats what we're attracted to. We're all still animals I guess lol.

I was commissioned in 2011 to do a sculpture of a Colonial person who was killed by the Abenaki Indians in Main USA.. in 1724. I commissioned an outfit to be made by a gentleman near Baltimore Maryland USA... He specialized in re-creating period clothing.. I had to have the clothing accurate for that period of time.. so fascinating.. Found out that the cuffs on the sleeves were large and grew smaller as the century progressed... The Bronze turned out great.. I so respect anyone who does what Zack does.. Thank you for the video...

WOW, ...just... WOW! I’m always watching Bernadette & you, my meme mother, as you both look at garments which may be dated incorrectly, look at modern clothing which takes influence from different decades, work on your own clothing, researching, what is done on a machine vs by hand, etc. I have never stopped to consider that the men who attend reproduction historical events ALSO need to have certain clothing pieces in their wardrobe! It’s amazing that he is a one man business & doesn’t send out some of the hand stitching! However; I suppose if it were my name attached to the construction of a garment, I would want to ensure it was done my exact expectations. If a client is unhappy, & my label is sewn into the piece...I couldn’t really place blame on someone that my client had no idea would be doing some of the work. I can’t wait to go check out his IG & website! Thank you for introducing him to those of us who didn’t know!! Much Love Meme Mom 🤗💜😘
