Ойындар

This is the Noblechairs Hero Black Edition. A premium gaming chair with an understated look but great butt feel. It's super comfortable with really great ergonomic support and fantastic adjustable lumbar support too.

I recently bought a JLConfurmi gaming chair and i've regretted it ever since. I was in the middle of revamping my room/pc setup and thought I could save myself a bit of money. I spend crazy amounts of time at my pc on my days off and I'm constantly having back ache so I'm going to swap my chair out for a Secret Labs (batman) chair and give one of my kids my chair. This video really helped me to decide on the switch after a few doubts about spending upwards of £300 on a chair. Many thanks and keep uip the great work.

NobleChairs released a limited edition HERO for £280 (black Friday deal) and they use a mesh weave kind of design, definitely check OCUK if they still have it. It was limited edition and I would have got that if I didn’t have the Hero Black Edition.

@@shiftyuk that's the one I ordered, I think. From OC too, as it was cheaper than direct from the manufacturer at the time (NB still had the £350 tag on it back then,) :) The only downside is they did not have the stock at the time, and predicted shipping is 9 December, but I can live with that considering the savings!

I have noticed on the noblechairs black edition that the bottom seat actually tilts a little which means your legs exit the chair higher than your butt is sitting. I have noticed this creates a small bit of pain behind my knees, do you get this sort of the thing with the secretlabs chair as well? It might be that the chair needs a bit of wear to reduce the strength of the chair edges

One further question: Can you elaborate on the minimum height of the model hero with the standard gas cylinder as I've seen many reviews saying that with a height of 1,75-1,90m the needed to replace the normal gas cylinder with the short or even extra short one on order to be able to adjust the seat height to their leg lengths and be able to put their feet on the ground when sitting upright.

UPDATE in 2023 (English not my language, it is hard to explain what is going on, bet let me try and hope it helps): I have been using Noblechairs Hero Black for 3 years and so far it was (overall) great! If I need to find cons, then very minor complains would be: -(from the begining) one of the armrests on lowest setting was/is about 1/2 cm higher than the other one, they are not perfectly the same height- you can feel it, a minor problem; -after heavy everyday use (10h or more) there is slight wobling(?) of main shaft(?). What I mean- if you do 360, you can feel you turning a little bit on one side. Now the main problem: -after 3 year finally something broke- now I cant "stop" the chair in any reclining position (it justs rocks back and forth, can't fix in the position). I think a spring broke (the one that is in the mechanism and helps move the blocking metal piece into the place to stop reclining). For now I just fixed that metal blocking thing with a piece of plastic and now my chair is always upright position. I can still recline the back, but not the seat anynmore. I guess my guaranty is no more, so I will be using my chair until I am tired of not be able to recline it fully and then look for other chair.... ORIGINAL COMMENT in 2020: Thanks for a video. Let me give you my 2 cents. I was comparing and couldn't chose between Titan XL and Noblechairs Hero Black edition as well. Yes, they are VERY similar in most of options! Here are my notes about different details I had found. Noblechair is beter in: -(supposedly) has better Vinyl / PU hybrid leather (than Titan's 'simple' PU), -less branding (as in Titan), -'german engeneering' vs 'polish engeneering' (very minor detail), -slightly wider seating area BUT Titan is better in: -has fabric as upholstery, -higher max wheight: 150kg vs 180kg (not that I need that, but bigger is better), -Price 10% lower than NobleChairs (that is including shipping, not the chair alone) I went with Noble chair Hero Black Edition at the end and now waiting to arrive it in 2 days :)

@@Bylone No problem :) I should probably add that the locking works for both the seat and the backrest independently. I for example need to lock the seat tilted forward as the seat cushion itself has a slight "lip" in the front and actually cuts of the circulation to my legs a bit if I let the seat tilt back at all. The SecretLab chairs are also supposed to allow locking both tilts as well, though I can't personally verify that.

@@Cybolic ahh okay I see thanks for the heads up, I heard of people saying the same thing about the secretlab chairs cutting off leg circulation too, I was hoping the noble chairs wouldn’t have that issue 😬 At the moment I’m just looking around at the choices, I heard bad things about DXRacer and not sure if GTOmega fall under the same sort of category, ideally looking for a chair where I can lock the tilt at any position and also something that won’t cut my blood circulation off, and I’m running out of options 😂

  • @Cybolic

@@Bylone Well, you can do what I did and add a memory foam cushion on top of the seat. It barely raises the price (relatively) and is better to sit on in general anyway. I'd avoid DXRacer as well; haven't heard anything good about them in years. Also, I wouldn't recommend the noblechairs Epic in this comparison and I'm actually replacing it with a SecretLabs Titan this Xmas. The Hero does look really nice as well though and I'd probably go for that one if my current one wasn't already noblechairs (and if the logo plaque on the backrest didn't pull my hair :P)

An answer to my own question. Got the chair and the seat depth is perfect for me. The biggest disappointment is the lumbar support. It is misplaced. I guess, the engineers didn't properly research otherwise I can't explain why they placed the lumbar support so low. 1-2 inches higher and it would have been a perfect position. Have to use the back pillow instead which is kind of shame. In general good chair that doesn't make it just a bit to become perfect chair.

The fabric version of the Hero comes in at €420,- and the fabric version of the Secretlab Titan 2020 model comes in at €509,- while the 2022 Evo version comes in at €620,- Which chair would you recommend to me? But if the secretlab definitely is more comfortable to you, I'm willing to save up longer and get that one instead.

The big problem with Noblechairs is that the seat base is permanently tilted slightly backwards, which means the front of the (very firm) seat base digs into the back of your thighs, and you can't plant your feet on the ground properly. At least if you're six feet or below. There's no way to tilt the seat base forward to make it parallell with the floor. Also, the built in lumbar support is not vertically adjustable. The included pillows are complete garbage, and don't even fit the Hero. They're designed for the Epic. The Secretlab Titan Evo 22/23 does not have any of these problems, which is why it will soon replace my Hero Black Edition.

Now, I don't have the noblechairs Hero, but I have the noblechairs Epic and can offer a few points to look out for. The Epic squeaks quite a bit when adjusting the backrest tilt, to the point where it's clearly audible two rooms away. The noblechairs logo plaque that's sewn into the backrest, as can also be seen on the Hero edition, will absolutely catch your hair if yours is long enough to reach it - so be prepared to get your hair pulled every time you move. The armrests of the Epic are not wide like the Hero's are and the cushioning on them is basically non-existent. They also only move from "too low" to "not enough" in height. The Hero does look to be quite a bit nicer that my Epic, unfortunately, that wasn't the version noblechairs recommended for my height (185cm / 6'1) so for my next, I think I might give SecretLab a go instead.

I got the Secret Labs Titan XL 2020 Edition in the new Soft Weave fabric. While the build quality is superb and it got so many features and settings this is still maybe the worst purchase i've done in years. Not being soft like a couch is an understatement. The chair is so hard I get pain after 2 hours in this chair, I also got some problem with blood flow to my legs if I sit leaned back for any longer period of time since the seat is that far out so it makes a pressure against the underside of my thighs. I did also find the lumbard support being useless since all that it does is putting a hard spot against my back while leaving my lumbard without any support at all. Tried my 3 years old IKEA Markus after been using this chair for 2 weeks and I somehow sit way more comfortable in that. I believe this chair depends alot on your body and height, but it is really stiff! Just wanted to point this information out since I see alot comments about how stiff it is, but all the reviews never complains more then mention it's abit stiff. This review at least stated that it is by no means a soft seat. I am sadly going to return mine after waiting such a long time for it to arrive.

They seem to be manufactured at the same factory as all the other "high end" gaming chairs. They also seem to be built the same way, as the differences seems to be merely cosmetic. Same shit, new wrapping. I am looking at my hyperx gaming chair, and it seems the same as these ones, just looks a bit different. And the Noble logo. How is it possible to have that misplaced Hero logo slip through the quality control?

I just bought this sercertlab titan gaming chair! I feel that the seat is very hard. After sitting for a long time, my butt hurts! Is there any way to improve? It's worse than the average chair! After all, I bought it for 489 euros! I think it's worthless
