love the idea of tailgate storage, Similar to how the wagons do it in barn doors. All the extra space does wonders

Congrats to the winner. I was thinking about it being a good spot to chuck some recovery gear when I saw what this video was about. Looks like a good mod for sure. Is it waterproof when locked down so the carpet etc doesn't get wet if there's a shower of rain and the tailgate is open? My brother in law has a tailgate he uses for uses for quick brews and cooking on the tracks and it's way more useful than the swing up tailgate on my thing tbh.

Hey mate it has a seal around the lid so it would definitely be dust proof water resistant I wouldn’t say the seal would fully stop water getting in there if you say dunked the car in a river.

@@4x4CampingandAdventures Ah ok. It was just a thought and could be a bit of a issue to dry out with the carpet etc and trapping moisture is never a good thing. Maybe if you were using it where it was likely to get wet they could have a setup with say powder coating with some drain holes on the inside and stuff could go in bags to prevent rattling? Likely not an issue for most but maybe something to think about depending on how/where the vehicle is used. Thanks for the video.
