Great ideas! Do you use the tkmaxx treasure card/ loyalty card. I've just started using it and I didn't realise they send you free gifts in the post as rewards! I got my first gift this week. Wish I'd started using it a long time ago 🙈♥️

A few years ago, my son was working after school/weekends for a company in Sydney (Aus). Over the Christmas period he was given a name of a fellow employee that he had been matched to, to buy her a Secret Santa gift. He completely forgot abut it, until the evening of the Christmas party, where the Manager of the department asked him for his contribution to take to the party. Panicked, (he had nothing) he desperately started going through all the drawers in his desk looking for something....anything to wrap up and give. Long story short: the lady in question opened his 'gift' at the party and promptly burst into tears. He had found a tin of Campbell's meat and vegetable soup and wrapped it in some fancy kitchen towel. The whole room fell silent, by all accounts! I was so angry when he told me that I made him go out and buy her a $20 gift card for a local department store the very next day. Secretly, I was laughing so hard about the soup, but obviously could not let him know. Totally unacceptable behaviour. Boys, huh!! 🤦‍♀️
