I have a British Passport. Canadian Citizenship. Live in Ottawa. Lived 40 of my 59 years in the US. Born in Germany, speak Spanish fluently. Oh and lived my first four years in Europe. What classification would you classify me as?

I am an expat since we(family) went to Dar es Salaam when I was 5. I was born in England. I was in MN sailing the world for 20yrs. Came ashore and worked for 10yrs in ME. Retired to Thailand 23 yrs ago. So for about 72 yrs have off and on I have been an expat, my passport is British, I think I have same problem as you. I tell people where I was born, but tell them I don’t really belong anywhere, the longest is Thailand.
