Excellent and extensive coverage of Lee sin. I initially thought that most of the more advanced Lee mechanics that you displayed later on in the video were typical only known to Lee sin one trick communities, but this video is extremely comprehensive and thorough. Canyon just did the cancel w with q and r while dashing in pro play. He did it when his team was behind a lot and he would easily lose the game if he failed, but he pulled it out, kicking the enemy sivir from their whole team (he broke the shield with smite too)

Great video, maybe now people can stop saying Lee is weak cuz he has a 45% winrate in 12.10 and instead get better hands. Lee feels good in 12.10, u just have to actually be good at the champion

You should check out KZH lee sin. He's a lee sin OTP and currently close to 2000lp in the super server. His decision making is phenomenal.

Also check out Edwin Leo’s channel. He posts vods of kzh and makes montages of other mechanically insane Lee sins as well. He’s high elo and is also pretty decent at Lee himself.

Those advanced mecanics are only used in normals by some chinese one tricks and a lot of them stopped playing the game :c

Ive been maining Lee Sin since i started to play back in S4, my peak is only diamond and i'm mechanically mediocre with most champs, my winrate with him never goes above 51% and has been as bad as 43% with more than 3 million mastery And even if i have a 70% winrate with Hecarim and Zac and a similarly high wr% with easy stuff like Poppy and Wukong i can still say nothing is as fun as playing Lee sin, forever jungle king of League

I would add the fact that as Lee Sin you want to use second Q as late as possible because enemy can't deal you damage when you are away from them, so after going with Q(2) you want to go back to your allies wtih W and about second later you want to go in with next Q again by the way I find Trundle a counter as well.

@@Loobra if you mean the flash+ward hop combo you gotta press the ward first out of range (but in range after the flash) to buffer it and then actually flash.. So as soon as you flash the ward will be placed.. Practice that first then add W to jump

The hardest part about playing this champ is mostly the decision making aspect. It's also what makes him really fun to play, I guess.

my hands are truly my counter. I cant even effortlessly ward hope with w. I put down the ward and then there is a 1 second delay on my w. But thankfully you can also play mechanically simpler champs and pop off.

If Lee has significant ability haste, he can hit Q(1), then use Q(2) but cancelling it, Lee can fail the second Q(1) and use the mark of the first Q(1) with the second Q(2). However I saw it only in URF. Edit: I rembemered another thing: if Lee hits the second Q(1) in another target, the second Q(2) still goes on mark of the first Q(1), basically Lee can be looping with this.

-Regarding the R+Auto. You don't need to be close, you can do it at max range Auto. You just need to click the target twice (because the window is shorter if you are doing it at max range rather than closer).- You do however, need to be close for E/Gore to hit. *Edit:* It's been a while since I played Lee, I remembered things wrong. You can *NOT* do R+AA at max range auto. However, If you are at max range auto you can still use your E and it will hit. Only useful if you can't hit the extra auto.

2 things wrong 1. You need to rightclick the target after the R cast time is done. 2. This window is the R cast time. Its always 0.25s and it doesnt change. Pretty obvious you only based it on pure feel

@@wat4504 Yeah I just tested this, you are right, It doesn't work. You need to be closer than your auto range to hit the auto mid air. You do however can use E if you are at your maximun auto range, so you do R+E then Q2+AA. I edited my original comment, feel free to point out any other mistake I have made.

It should be "click after the R cast time is done" in order for the combo to work And my second point is about the "window is shorter if youre doing it at max range". The window is the same everytime regardless of how far you are from the target. This click window doesnt change

2:17 q2 don't deal % missing heal, it increased by 0% − 100% (based on target's missing health).
