help! I cant use the color rack :(, i think is because of the serum (not same version) pls moonboy could you make a version without the serum?
@AugnierCalyenin

@@rezv4838 You can just replace his bass preset with one of your own presets. Try a bunch of different basses, many of them sound really cool. The other serum just uses supersaws for the chord sound
can we just stop and thank god for serum? Such a life saver lol

The delay in the metalica bass makes a comb filter. So many people forget that short delays is where the comb filter comes from
5:25 That Example #2 BASS tho 😱🔥😱
Always so awesome, inspiring, and helpful watching your videos. Your passion and experience with the music makes trying to learn all that much easier. You make producing killer dubstep (or any other genre/subgenre you cover) and getting somewhere in music seem so achievable, and thats all I think anyone could ask for, so thank you!
Definitely gonna try some of these, especially that super low pitch bend, I love empty clicky drops like that
I originally knew quite a bit about sound design, and these techniques are so basic, but so good, and I tend to sleep on some of them a bit more than I should

Wow just as soon as I'm making dubstep again. Thanks for the tips super informative
Really great video man!
With pitching down stuff is really interesting, with ott and delay and even a vocoder is more interesting also. You can make heavy watery riddim dubstep basses with that technique.
this is the video ive been in need of!!

Thx bro, very useful =)
Great stuff man! I haven’t been messing w this type of bass but wanted to add some dubstep n riddim techniques to the experimental hip hop I been messing with. While I’m gonna be using more bass/voice from Massive and my face lol blended in NI’s Form, I have the wild sounds in the heavy mid range I want but needed some dropish tricks n this was great both as refresher n a few solid innovative tricks! Keep it up my brother

A classic dubstep growl tutorial would be interesting!!!
Plz show us your process of layering your tracks. including everything from intro chords/melodys, build ups, main drop basses, background drop elements, and whatever else you think is important. Edit: The main thing I'm looking for is how do I fill out the low-mid bass range when I make a high pitched sound?
Thanks for the video. I guess I should be less afraid of downsampling. My staple was the deep YAYA bass for a while.
Thanks for downsampling
thank U
w8ing for part 2 buddy =)))))
4:28 this dude really made the jagerwomb screech in a sound design block, bossman
Thanks bro

OMG DUDE! #5 Frequency Shifting is what I've been searching for. I "think" it's the basis for what Zomboy is doing on Lone Wolf. I've seen many tutorials on making the sound, but none really sounded right. Anyways. I jammed OTT (default), Saturator (+13db, output -13db), before Freq Shifting and then high-passed around 1k. Set FreqShifter to Ring mode. Mapped a macro to the freq knob using a range of around 600 Hz - 1.2 kHz. I got pretty damn close. Thanks!
One question: Did something happened between Kiwii and you? I haven't seen her in a long while on any of your social media

It may have something to do with those accusations against him. I didn't buy into them much.
A fun way to make wubs for me personally it that i get a vocal sample with a delay on it, and mess around with the octaves while putting effects such as OTT and a frequency shifter on it (wavefolder\shaper is sexy too)
I need that part 2 yo
