Ooh I've not heard of secondhand September. I'm a lover of a pre-loved bargains all year round so I hope the challenge helps people taking part realise what amazing buys (or freebies) you can find second hand 🙌 I love both pieces, I'm feeling a bit of LV envy here 🤣

Wow what a bargain! I buy 80% of my clothes/accessories second hand on eBay or in charity shops. You can buy high end high street brands for the price of primark. What’s not to like?! Often they’ve hardly been worn or sometimes are brand new. I’ve had many many bargains. I bought a pair of Pied a Terre knee high tan leather boots for £5 about 4 years ago and I wear them all the time. They were hardly worn when I bought them. They would have been over £200 new. It’s a win win situation because you’re getting wonderful high end quality for a fraction of the price and you’re helping save the planet. Well done for your fab bargain! 👍😀💕

I love that you gave some history on the LV brand and explained how the bags are made. Great video. I'm like you, I like things to match and I think it's good to spend money on timeless pieces. Back in the early 00s I got two fake LV bags and a wallet in Camden Market. I thought I was the bomb strutting about with them back home in Edinburgh 😂🤣 I wouldn't buy a brand new leather item now as I'm vegan but I have bought some secondhand items from charity shops as I see that as repurposing and it not going to waste/landfill. Brilliant video and congratulations on your purchase. It'll be lovely to see you go on your travels with them!

I have a Louis Vuitton holdall, but mines pink and I bought it in Turkey 4 years ago, to put all my new Gucci and Ralph Lauren T- shirts in to take home, lol! 😁

Enjoyed the "conversational" and approachability quality of your review. In addition to the standard checks for authenticity (materials, font, overall quality, etc.), examine the number of stitches. Every Keepall bag I’ve purchased directly from Louis Vuitton has 5 stitches across the width of bands (strap itself, band that attaches to the handles, band on sides that attach to the strap). 4 stitches is a cheaper alternative used in many fakes, including most of the “vintage” bags. Louis Vuitton does not compromise quality. This is the one detail I check on every bag and is often overlooked/never examined by “authenticators” like those from the RealReal and even by sales associates.

If buying on eBay, its worth checking sellers based in Japan as there are very strict counterfeit laws in Japan. The handbags are often in great condition and are graded so you always know exactly what you're buying.

Sunday morning relaxing in bed and what a treat ..no.1 listening to your voice which is so calming and no.2 how fascinating learning about Louis Vitton truly a subject I've never thought about but you've got me interested now!

Mr Carrington bless you so kind got some blood tests this week after scan result and you know when you get proper bogie bubbles , tears and live alone work full time oh and i become a member of the wide awake club at silly o clock ... yep that’s me atm

i have an eBay addiction. always loved finding incredible pieces there,pieces of designer that are not current season . to restore the bags although pricey there are places in london that restore/repair the bags beautifully . love what you managed to get. amazing pieces.
