I totally agree. My favorite country group. I'm 57 years old and have loved their music since I was just a kid. I saw them 3 times in concert back in the 1980's. Awesome.

+Ty Jones If you are still looking for the LP version of "Pictures Of Moments To Remember," you might try EBay. If you would like it on a CD, the Readers Digest collection is available through the Statler Brothers web site. The set includes eight of their earliest Mercury albums, five of which, including this one, not otherwise available in CD format.

Ebay.....that's where I got mine. It's on the album, Pictures Of "Moments to Remember". I had to buy a cassette and an LP. They say it's never been remastered on CD. I believe it because I couldn't find it anywhere. I did find an 8 track. Amazing! I have an old console stereo that will play LP, cassette and 8 track but I wanted the CD for my car. UPDATE: It can be found on the Statlers site on CD.

actually, Harold wrote this song while driving between gigs (he was literally the one driving) and dictated it to Don. according to Don Reid's new book: The Music of the Statler Brothers-an Anthology. page 51-52.

What I feel really makes these guys GREAT is that they always had a great background group of musicians, but let's face it the Statler Brothers weren't anything to be topped as a quartet! Joe Engman

So true. Musicians appearing on this number were Charlie McCoy, Hargus "Pig" Robbins, Harold Bradley, Chip Young, Jerry Kennedy, Bob Moore and Buddy Harman. All top notch!

@@davekinneer6307 That was the A team of Nashville session men , only Pete Drake is missing but the stateless didn't use pedal steel guitar much if at all.....Iv'e never heard much steel guitar on their records.
