You're right that seeing a close up of the soul on a ledge really shows off the benefits of this concept. I'd love to see your next video show off how a royale lines up on a ledge with these.

They do have excellent backslide grooves. I'll add that to my notes for the next video!

I understand the idea, they look very well made, I get there are substantial labor costs involved -- I just don't think there will be enough people willing to pay $350+ for souls. But blading needs more innovation and I wish them well.

True, they won't be for everyone. A very small percentage of skaters even. But I think they knew that going in when designing them. From my talks with them, they just wanted to make the best possible product they could with a quality they could be proud of.

Not that I know all the specifics, but from my understanding they are a completely proprietary custom uhmw. Made to be harder and slider faster than even standard uhmw.

That is the starting price point. Yes.

I thought these were a nice idea but jesus christ $350 for just the sliders, not even the soulplate, you can't justify that. I thought Adapts were ridiculous but man, thats mad. I really hope it does take off though, I recognise there are many people who skate who certainly have the money for them and appreciate the idea behind it.

I think longevity is going to be the defining factor as to weather or not the see success. Which unfortunately has yet to be seen. Definitely one of my goals in testing them.

They seem cool but they're out of their mind charging the price they are. I'd be too afraid to actually skate them because I wouldn't want to be replacing $350 soul plates too often. Especially for cess slides, I would never do them.

Very costly custom uhmw and cnc mill process. They only want to make the best possible soul plates they can, it's their passion. They don't expect everyone to want to spend out on them.
