@@speedbird1668 then spoiler Before telling why was she crying first I will tell you about her backstory Well her father and mother belonged to rich families and they married each other because of a contract and one day cuz of atmosphere they did the deed and Mahiru was born. They both didn't liked each other and also didn't liked Mahiru and never came home. His mother sometimes came home but she was always disgusted by Mahiru because not only she was unnecessary but also she looked like her father. Her father never came home due to work and also probably he has sone affair and her mother has multiple affairs. Mahiru started using angel persona in which she is perfect at everything to get their attention but they never gave her attention. She was also taken care by a caretaker who also taught her cooking. Now why was she was crying at day. On that day her mother told that when her high school will end her mother and father will do divorce and from then on she will become independent and they will never talk to her again. That why was she sad and crying. You will probably see this in ep 6 or 7 of anime
