And the world as we know it Torley, was greater for having you in it and showing us the way to so many cool things. Wishing you all the best wherever you go!
My jaw is literally hanging open - it's now nearing the end of 2021 and I have just learned of this video. When I saw it, my mouth hung open. I've been in SL since 2007. LOL. This is amazing evidence you can always learn something new!!! LOL Thanks!
Its always nice how you xplain to use the inbuilt functions of Second Life's new viewers. So much ppl. have absolutely no clue about the possibilities the viewer offers also to those without any building skills. Still a great program and you bring it to us. Thank you for this!
Great feature, great place, thanks Torley for making our secondlives colourfull!
Thanks, Torley! I've made some fun things using this technique - also some pretty handy photo lighting.
Pretty neat stuff! Glad to see ya making videos again Torley.
Missed you around here, Torley. Our awesome definitely needed some amplifying!
I love this feature SO much. I just wish there were a way to make a prim project out of more than one side, instead of just the bottom. This projection feature works AMAZING if you are making a chandelier, and you place the projector just above the chandelier... then all the candles shadows and whatnot are also projected on the ground and it gives an amazing depth!
Great feature and cool video tutorial, thanks Torley !
Yay, cool tip! And welcome back Torley, we missed you! :D
Always very good tutorials - thank you
TORLEYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! omfg welcome back
i already know all this i just love torleys voice ^_^
Great ! TY
thx torley :)
I just tried in SL. I coped my first projector then used Ctrl-Z to return it to the exact same positions as the first. Then rotate it to where you like.
Awesome ty
wow that's aweesome
Nice and funny Torley, sounded like you said wullaaaa xD Ima going try that lightning!
Ok I thought he was a rich snob that didnt give two shits about the people who play his game me being one of them, I just got proven wrong in so many ways, That guy cares and he makes tutorials and he is what I have learned to be respectable. For that I thank you.
Awesome
Oh wow, multiple of my vids are in the related tab. Projector lighting FTW
I don't have the option to drag a texture in the box because I do not have a box. only a color box. and now everything is tinted pink. what computer do you use and what SL viewer do you use?
good!
This is really cool but for some reason it is not working for me. Would you have to do with my graphic settings perhaps?
Well like he said, "you have to have your settings on high." This is so that box, beside the color box, appears.
what viewer do you need to be on to use these features ???
:( When I attach to my nose, there is no longer light and the texture is gone. So I reset the Light and texture with the cube attached and still it will not show! Which I am very disappointed with. I wanted to use this to take pretty pictures in no rez sims. Does anyone know how to work around this or has SL changed this to where we can't?
/me loves disco! Ooo ooo!
okidoki
@PhonixEmbers. I did not say it was a game. and I used to "play" this but i lost interest so sorry if i came across wrong :( This was a good tutorial and the new features look cool, so I am sorry.
Couldnt you just create a duplicate of your first projector and spin it?
If u look left corner it said second life so he might be using V2

You don't really need to buy virtual stuff, there's a lot that can be had for free. And there are some activities which can help you earn the money for it - you can be on the receiving end of all those people paying money into SL ;) What got me hooked, is the possibility to be creative and create anything. Obviously, if you were looking for a game, i understand your disappointment, it just isn't. It's not a life replacement either. It's just different from anything else.
Why won't you tell us what viewer you are using Torls dude? Is it a secret?
Ok, then please apologize also my harsh words, this is normally not my style. I should have been more patient. I don't know what was driving me in that very moment.
people still play this?
Sweet!
