Second Degree Heart Block - Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) Interpretation
In second-degree heart blocks, an occasional p-wave does not get conducted to the ventricles. This usually results in a long PR interval, but more telling is that some p-waves are not followed by subsequent QRS complexes.

Kardiograph - An Interactive EKG Course medzcool.com/kardiograph
ive never seen such high quality medical videos like this before. im so glad i accidentally found this channel. thank you
One of the greatest, simplest and easiest video I have ever watched. Thank you so much for this.
I have been a nurse for years and still haven't been able to get the 2 types of second degree blocks to stick to memory and always have to look up which is which. This is by far the best, most digestible explanation I have seen. Thank you!
As a heart patient, your visual education blessed my heart and comforted me. Thank you. I now understand type 2.❤
Probably, this is the best explanation of AV block that I've ever watched. Congrats!!
Thank you for being short and direct!

Medzcool, keep it up! The medical world is your oyster! 😉
great!!
Awesome videoa
I loved how informative and visual this video was! It really helped me learn these concepts better. Just curious, is a QRS complex drop the same thing as a "skipped heart beat". If so, are there other more benign causes of QRS drops or do you typically only see these in Mobitz type II blocks?
THANK U HIGH QUALITY.. IAM SREEKANTH CAN U EXPLAIN QRS COMPLEXES KZread DONT HAVE BETTER VEDIOS ..MAKE SURE U MAKE THAT VEDIOS
Thanks 😊 a lot
God bless you good people.
I finally get it!!!!! Thank you so much!!!
Great
thankyou
May I use metoprolol and diltiazem in pt having coarse badal crepts

Exelent
yu can do vidoes with the writing appearing whle you re speaking
U d real g
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow
How can you differentiate between 2° (with multiple dropped beats between QRS complexes), Atrial Tachycardia (with multiple dropped beats between QRS complexes) and Atrial Flutter, each have the typical "sawtooth" pattern on the ECG? Is it possible that (in a particular sense) all three are the same rhythm??
👍
I get sharp pains around heart area and get breathless very fast, constantly tired even when iron is normal and my confusion is getting worse...always light headed but docs put it down to vertigo...had an ecg today and it was borderline....docs keep putting it down to stress but I know how I feel 😢

Chest pains, shortness of breath, and confusion are never good signs. Have you seen a cardiologist and had an echocardiogram and stress test? Arrhythmias do not always reveal themselves unless your body is under stress. The echo can reveal structures within your heat that are not functioning properly.
2:1 ??
In which lead I should see this????

Sorry i don't no.
Can someone please tell me how many times in a minute does this occur? I mean is it possible for a patient to see this once a hour?
@xrgaming1847
Жыл бұрын
No when it happens it repeats every 1min to 10min max and it keeps repeating
Paramedic school gave me both of these dysthymias
@MossyMozart

@inherentnature5938 - These are cardiac arrhythmias. Isn't dysthymia a chronic, low-grade type of depression?
I wish you taught my tele class

Thanks! I wish I taught my tele class too when I was as student! So many people the basic concepts harder than it actually is. Anyways, more cardiac rhythm videos and EKGs coming soon!
