This just underscores my preference for real, unscripted videos. You both were exploring a place you've never been before. Rain can be a drag, but it added to the experience seeing how you handled it. The horses were SO CUTE - it was fun to see a bit more of their personalities. Antares playing in the water and doing his Spanish walk was adorable❤. It was so fun to watch Etro build his confidence and act like a pro by the end of the ride. What a beautiful, good boy❤. This was enjoyable to watch from start to finish.

I enjoy these videos of Matt and Jesse riding their beautiful horses in nature. So calming. Thanks for taking us along on your ride. More please!

@@mandycook9037 sometimes 'relaxing' your horse on a trail can have more harm than good, especially if the horse isn't well accustomed to the surroundings. it's always better to have more control in case something goes unexpectedly.

I feel you both are TV stars. Here is an idea for you to help a horse charity: List all your used equipment some autographed for sale with 100% profit to horse charity. Items that can't be autographed send a card autographed with it. For example a saddle blanket autographed in white pen ink from both of you. I'm sure an autographed shirt from Jesse or Matt would also sell well. Then you would mention this page on your website in each video... All for the horse charity!

Nice to see such confident riders helping their horses through the “spooky” spots on the ride. Thank you for the video!

You might want to come to the Sauerland in Germany. A lovely region with lots of hills and lakes and rivers. Basically a lot of Dutch people come for skiing, as it's close to the Dutch border, but it's ideal for riding as well😎🍀😎

I enjoyed this video very much. I love it when things are not scripted. Watching Antares play in the water was so much fun. Watching Etro work thru his fear to seeing him confidently walk thru all water was special. I felt so proud of him! Thank you for taking me on this holiday. As for complaining - I didn't mind because it was real. Being poured on is never fun.

Really enjoyed your ride in the rain 🌧️ even though I don’t think I would particularly enjoy sitting in a wet saddle but that’s all part of the experience and memory. The boys seemed to be having fun in the water once they got used to it. Etro and Antares are such good boys!

I think it is good for the horses to get out on the trails and experience new things, such as going through the water.

Antares and Etro were such amazing boys on the ride. I always admire what Jesse and Matt do.

@@Bettina-mb2xr Do you enjoy saying such things on the exact page you spent time watching his videos? It's not a nice thing to say. Matt clearly states that he needs to be more in control, even in the forest, since he's riding a stallion. And you can notice in the start of the ride he says that Etro has a lot of energy. I would probably want to be more in control like that too... You do know there's actual real, normal people with feelings, that try their best, that read these comments right? And that you dont have to pay a dime watching their videos? If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Yes Matt has good awareness in place, as Etro is a big clever stallion and it is "very much horse" to handle if he gets scared or upset and the risk of getting injured, both horse and human, wich can happen in seconds. Listen how they talk to each other...for ex. there is a van coming over there and should I go first over the bridge Jesse asks Matt, as Anteres is a calmer horse and the horses know eachother so the calmer lead the other, look come here after me. Ok I come but I have to think a little first Etro "says". Horses communicate all the time with eachother and also with humans ( but often an untrained eye do not get it, as the signs are quick and many do not just understand especially in the beginning. A horse is a wonderful piece of nature but you have to know what you are into. Flag high up for awareness and the love for the horses! 😊🐎❤🐎😊 Have nice horsey days!

Matt, thank you for posting this second part so quickly! It wasn't the walk you'd hoped for because of the heavy rain, but I think the four of you enjoyed it. This forest is very beautiful but the ground is more uneven, and the rain doesn't help. Etro and Antares are both so sweet and adorable, and such outings are a real treat for them. Well that was a wonderful weekend getaway! Really loved the trails … such a beautiful area and I can see why you’re looking to move there. Just imagine if you got a large enough property to set up your own trails within! Your breakfast so reminded me of the breakfasts I had when I visited Germany in the mid-80’s. It was tea and freshly baked bagels with various jams/butter … out in the garden. It was so tasty and filling! Thanks for taking us along … the Boyz were very well behaved and seemed to really enjoy the trail riding, as well! Can’t believe he’s a stallion Matt … so chilled or at least he appeared so. Enjoyed seeing your horses getting to enjoy the real world, experiencing just going down a trail. Such experiences are so good for the rider as well, testing in real time what kind of bond and trust there is between you and your horse.

Limburg is the driest part of the Netherlands with horse-friendly accommodations and beautiful nature reserves to explore via horse trail network. It might also be a nice area for your next property as it is closer to Equitom.

The horses are so happy to be out in new surroundings....love riding out free. Go for 2 hr rides in the Australian bush, the horses love it and load themselves ready to go. We play cowboys and indians which tunes them up to be responsive to the aids and have fun. Helps the horses to have self confidence too. Love going on holidays with the horses and trekking. Variety of work keeps them mentally fresh.

I would say both you boys are “good eggs.” Fun times! 💙💙

The rain in Spain is mainly in the mane. On the way back, there ARE some horse left-overs in front of the restaurant. It's so nice to so how much your horses trust you guys. And the two of you are also such a lovely couple. Nice to see how much you relaxed.

I do love this vid! When the horses can do their fine steps also outside the arena and the program, then we talk about real riding. I think this was the first for me, to see this phenomenon to happen here. It is always so good to see horses getting accustomed to different noises, movements, environments - and people. Some horses may be more autistic than the others, so it is just like with any individual person. - Love ya all!
