I'm glad you like it! The 5km of this time was my longest. It was a little scary but I definitely enjoyed it :) I'll write the details down at the description later.

Very good fly and fototage, like it! Only 5 subs is not okay.. Can you give some info on motors and battery, i saw your current and speed are always high. DVR would be interesting too;)

Thanks for watching as always! I think the speed increased on the way home thanks to the tailwind. It's a normal 5" quad. Motors : Xing2 2207 1855kv Battery : 21700 lion 6s1p 4000mah (self-made)
Man did you nail that exposure. And did you just long-range that 5"? XD With that distance to the ground I don't miss much of the missing motion blur of the 1/480, you might get rid of that teeny bit of jello though. Over all an amazing piece and super nice flying!

Beautiful flight. My whole life feels mis-timed. I grew up in a town of 250 people surrounded by this scenery, but only in the past 5 years do I have this hobby but can't afford to go back there, and my location is flat as a pancake lol. I've watched avalanche-diving videos with quads and I used to see that sort of thing on the daily.......the sound of thunder on a sunny day. That being said, I just looked at your specs and I'll be OK with my new 7". New sub. How did you do the little flightmap thingy in your vid? Airtag or something?
@alpinefpv9524
Жыл бұрын
I'm glad you like it sir! I think it's never too late to get into something. For the flightmap, I record telemetry including GPS coordinate on my radio, and overlay it onto the footage using software called "DashWare". The video of Painless360 is very helpful. I wrote the link in the description.
5km with a 5 inch + analog + elrs 2.4! Really impressive! It seems that the limit is just the LiPo and the dimensions of the pilot's nuts! I'd like to see the FPV feed, it will be very interesting! By the way: what power for the ELRS signal?
@alpinefpv9524
Жыл бұрын
I think I can fly a little farther, but it's not good for my heart:) So this is the limit for now. The power of ELRS is 500mw(dynamic power). BETAFPV SUPERD is truly awesome. It stayed around -85dbm even at 5km!
Hey! Great video! Can you please share what you use for video editing?

Lovely location and such a nice day. I see you had a little jello in your video at times a shame. That might be reduced by a slower shutter speed.

ciao bel video! che visore e antenne usi per avere un segnale video che arriva a 5km? e come realizzi la grafica con i vari dati?
@alpinefpv9524

Ciao! On the ground side, I use binocular style goggles and two helical antennas. For video, I record telemetry on my radio( including speed, battery voltage, etc), and overlay it onto the footage using software called "DashWare".
I live in a country like this, and flying is difficult because of the 120m height limit. Nice vid!

I doubt that he is more than 120 m above the ground - it's a relative value. But when talking about legal I guess at 5 km his spotter (?) won't be able to see the drone ;-)

Es mejor analogico para long range? Llega mas lejos?
@alpinefpv9524
Жыл бұрын
Analog video is attenuated linearly, and we can see terrain even when it's pretty bad. HD systems like DJI and WS suddenly black out and it takes a long time for the video to recover. So I prefer analog for long range. The crisp images of HD systems are attractive though:) And yes, I can probably go a little further.
