It's really really good, I just got into a week ago. Needs the sound mod and windshield/dash mod (on youtube) then it's fantastic, maybe my favourite rally sim now.

I agree! I can't stop playing it. Even with the framerate issues and sound, I still think it's a blast. The feel of the terrain and different cars is some of the best. I have both dirt rally and dirt rally 2.0 and though the graphics are nicer in those games the feel of the vehicles in this game are really good. I actually like the rally cross in this game. I am definitely glad I decided to give it a chance. Thanks for the comment as well!

@@VikingWarlordIt's rare I enjoy slower/older cars and tarmac as much as gravel rallies, but I definitely do in this game. I prefer the graphics over Dirt games, much more natural and realistic. Sweden and Finland look better than any other rally game has recreated especially. Codemasters never get them right. Sense of speed is great, you cannot get too close to corners or you will tip easily though! Can be hard with the long grass.

@@martsum398 I agree going flat out in a snowy open field in sweden, or going through the forest past cabins just to have it open up on gravel by a ski lift in Finland is awesome. And a decent amount of crash hazards like light poles or low walls through the tight sections are great when you thread through at a high speed. WRC 9 has some great stage design to...If you can get that on the cheap. I think you will like that as well. I did some research and WRC 9 is highly regarded as one of the best in that series. It's cheap too. I picked up V-RALLY 4 and that too is pretty underrated. It's a great time to be a rally fan with all these games selling so cheap and they are all pretty fun in there own ways.

@@VikingWarlordYup, I literally have all the WRC games, 9-10 and generations are all decent, but still fall short in some areas. Think I have got most rally games to be honest. Art of Rally is fantastic for a different experience. Also have EA WRC which has great potential but it misses that thrill that SLRE has, hard to explain. Feels a bit slow, despite the speed.

@@martsum398 that's good to know thank you I really like WRC 9 stage variety. But it doesn't have enough of the old cars imo. The sound is decent and I feel good when I get a clean stage. But Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO keeps me coming back. Haha. I'm playing it as we speak now.

Wait, how did you get that co-driver? Sounds different to mine... weird that it's different on console

Did you get all the DLC I picked up the prototype pack, the rally cross pack and the renault 5 turbo. I didn't get the two hill climb packs though.

@@VikingWarlordI'm on PC, it's an option to choose on launch which language. Yeah, I got the full DLC version since it was just on sale for a few bucks on Steam! Crazy cheap on PC.
