That's go out for a drive kind of weather

The problem around here is that it's hilly terrain like a rollercoaster ride with stoplights at the top & bottom. I had to hang 2 chains just to get 1 block up to get through a stoplight after 2 attempts without then push 2 cars off to the side so I could get my 78ft truck around the ramp to the freeway.

Avg yearly snowfall here is 2"- 4". I have 5" at my house at a elevation of 250ft just since midnight. Usually we don't get cold enough for snow, but it's 10-15 degrees colder then normal today.

NO, Bellevue schools have only been closed Mon/Tue, as such is the same w/a majority of the larger districts in the KSEA metro area, more specifically the eastside communities I.E. Issaquah, Redmond, Kirkland, North Bend, Renton etc. etc. that is NOT "Over Two Days"

I have been I a couple blizzard in Minnesota in the 90’s, I now have lived in wa for 19 years and it is the most snow I have ever seen here at once but it was no blizzard. 11 inches in less than 24 hours is bad in WA. Biggest problem is all thesed drivers that have zero clue on how to drive in the snow so the whole state comes to a halt. It is hillarious to me

In this video, yes. A week later, after non-stop snow...not so much. Bellevue has a 1300' elevation difference within the city limits (no shit). The south (semi-mountainous) side got 3' over night,shortly after this video was taken. Snow here is consonantly the wet and ready-to-turn-ice kind, unlike the powdery stuff the falls east of here. makes for sucky driving, and plowing, conditions.

Yeah. This is nothing compared to alot of other places. It's trying to drive to work with the damn hills iced over. But mostly other idiots who think its fine to speed on black ice.

It's not the most snow ever but hey, all the damn hills are just asking for trouble and this severity is so rare that everybody sucks at driving in it. So not a crazy amount of snow but definitely stirring drama.

The snow in Washington is really wet and slicker than snot, not ideal to drive on but the media always exaggerate the situation
