@@467076 Really watch the Documentary I think it is called Seattle Dying. Homeless drug addicts allowed to have like 28 doses of Heroin or Meth with no penalty so the dealers know what to carry and sale without getting busted. They almost never prosecute shoplifting so that is how they make their money. I think I heard LA allowed up to $950 before it was a prosecutable crime. Like he said people sleeping in front of stores, shit, piss and thousands of needless. Also a lot of mentally ill who are also self medicating they left out the bad side and it is bad.

Captain Jim Yea, I watched that documentary. Plus I can drive like an hour and see it first hand lol Sure some parts of Seattle are nice, just like any other city but the reality is it’s shit lol democrats will do that to cities though. I also use to pass by through LA a lot a couple years back and that entire city is a shithole lol

My dream city. Wish to live here with family forever. Stayed abroad in GCC countries and visited some European countries. But Seattle is Seattle. No other city like this specially weather, cleaning and wel organized.

@Josue Rodriguez Well, I am not from Seattle and I wouldn't call it the best city in the world or dream city but it is surprisingly clean. Every big city has homeless population and probably some trash and I am sure that Seattle has it as well, but my impression was also that city is very very clean.

The last 15 minutes is amazing, you should do more walk like that, I mean during twilight when the sky is neither bright or dark. The lights from the street lamps, diners, shops, etc look really great during twilight.

Thank you for posting this, you filmed exactly what used to be some of my favorite walks around Seattle. It was nice to walk around the city (or in my case roll) and see some of my favorite things while still being covid-19 safe period not to mention it's a nice ambiance for studying :-).

I miss Seattle…its been almost 3 years I have not visited my daughters and grandchildren….because of the pandemic….now i am planning again for a visit….

I live in the outskirts of Seattle. The truth is even the farthest out reaches of the city are being gentrified. Small homes are being torn down to fit 4 mcmansions on the property or same half acre foot print. The highways are always congested. You work in downtown and have to be there at 7 am? better wake up at 4 am. Get off work at 6pm gotta make dinner for the family and help kids with school? - not home till like 8pm if lucky. Seattle has become jam packed because of places like Amazon. The I-5 highway is a thin corridor of land running from Tacoma in the south to Arlington in the north. homes that should cost 250k are now 600 k for a middle class home. Homelessness runs rampant. There are camps everywhere. With alot of trash. Im not saying homeless people arent allowed to exist or "to be" but seattle has not spent their money wisely to help homelessness. The camps are being pushed around and out because of the building of the Light Rail . The spots on the side of the I-5 highway where they stayed are disappearing. Seattle also cleared out the jungle which was a 1.5 mile stretch in the industrial area under the highway where there was room for these people to stay and be left alone. Watch a youtube video called Seattle is Dying is it will show you the truth of the matter.

Most of the area you see here is now filled with homeless and some areas are full of tent cities. It's gotten really, really bad. Downtown isn't safe at all anymore, either.

That library is nice and its big.

If i had the money to move to Seattle or outside not far from seattle I would. I just love the atmosphere of that city and state.

Before the riots came and messed everything up!!! Down Town Seattle was voted city with the most beautiful down town do to the big city feel among water, trees and the mountains now its good and bad.

The Cities in Switzerland for instance look so much nicer than in the US and the people look healthier and happier....... As a US citizen I hate to say that.......... but it's true. Something is going wrong here.

They say Seattle has mild winters. If it's anything like London then the winters are very cold even though the temperature maybe 50 degrees. It's because it's a wet cold. Not sure of the science behind this but makes it feel alot colder than it actually is.

Good but couldn’t finish. Take advice from “Globe Trotter Alpha” and put a caption that says the location of each shot. Because of this detail, I watched his entire 2.5 hour nyc video and actually learned about the city.

(For anyone who lives in Seattle) what’s it like? (Crime wise, race relation wise, etc.) I know these can be very universal for all cities but I know it varies at certain degrees

A LOT of different people live here, if you ever visit, make sure to never go down third Avenue. Very bad road crime wise. Lots of homeless downtown (this video fails to capture it all)

For a big urban city, its not that bad. There are some parts that you don’t want to risk walking alone in the dark (mugging probably the worst that’ll happen) but those places would be pretty obvious if you ever end up there. Pretty safe other than that. The city itself is very diverse and liberal, so no race issues. Only real issue I’d mention is the homeless problem. They’re mostly harmless but running into needles at a park can be quite disheartening. “Safe injection sites” 🙄 and cleaning crews keep it from becoming too severe, but still, watch where you step :3
