Other than conceding the goal, Beavers looked great this game, making amazing saves. People forget he’s still very young. He’ll get better and better, just you see.

Excellent result for RSL. It would be too much for two former players to score for their former club. Gomez has made a very significant improvement compared to last season, that's very good. Support for Beavers, wasn't bad, shouldered the blame for the goal conceded, but made good saves on a couple of occasions. Why Arango and Katranis didn't play from the beginning, why the change of Luna players, I think these are mistakes in the tactics of the head coach today

Beavers is still very young. He will get better. Some of the saves he did make were fantastic and kept RSL in it. With time and patience, he has potential to becoming a great keeper one day.

Thats a foul, but a good no call at first. RSL Defender #15 Glad has no skill and took a poor attempt to jump kick pass it, Even if #17 Musovski didn't foul, #15 Glad, still would've had the same first touch going in the same direction for #21 Baker-Whiting to steal it and hit the freeway.

From the IFAB VAR rules "The categories of decision/incident which may be reviewed in the event of a potential ‘clear and obvious error’ or ‘serious missed incident’ are: a. Goal/no goal attacking team offence in the build-up to or scoring of the goal (handball, foul, offside etc.) ball out of play prior to the goal goal/no goal decisions offence by goalkeeper and/or kicker at the taking of a penalty kick or encroachment by an attacker or defender who becomes directly involved in play if the penalty kick rebounds from the goalpost, crossbar or goalkeeper" The difference is that the foul occurred in the build up to the goal.

Is RSL getting some scrimmages done before the match? All I see are RSL players on the pitch./s But seriously, this whole money grab of churning out jerseys factory style, year after year, in various colors - this all has to stop. It just cheapens the identity of the team. I grew up watching and loving Bruce Lee movies and remember the first time I listened to Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Child and All Along the Watch Towers at my friend's house, how blown away I was. But I'm not going to buy a red dragon or purple haze jersey. That has NOTHING to do with the Seattle Sounders other than them simply having lived in the same city for a time. Teams can honor the history and heritage of famous and contributing members of society without wanting to turn it into their golden calf for the year. If you want a purple jersey, buy a damn Orlando jersey. Want red? There's a good number to choose from. However, there doesn't seem to be a shortage of consumers forking over the cash for the yearly jersey (those are an owner's most valued customers after all) so sadly I don't see an end coming anytime soon. What's next year, a blue alternate jersey to honor Nirvana's "Nevermind" album?

Typical garbage MLS officiating. Both teams fought hard, the ref let some contact slide, but the calls were so inconsistent. Also 9 minutes extra time, why?

Nope not at all. The referee missed seeing the foul, play carried on and Seattle scored. But thanks to VAR RSL was the team that didn't get screwed over.

Typical sports fans, “the rules suck unless they help my team” kind of mentality. That was textbook VAR and 100% accurate.

Screw RSL, clearly the worse team. Miracle assists from the refs. Since when do any teams play 9 minutes extra time? Can you make it any more obvious you are wanting RSL?
