Seattle’s Best Spring MTB Trails - Tokul

Today I'm riding the best winter/spring trails at Tokul East outside of Seattle. Tokul is the perfect place to ride after a rain and when the snow levels are low as it drains really well. This video shows my favorite ride stringing together Last Frontier, Between Two Fernz, Goose Chase, and PNWheel. These trails are steep and technical - my kind of fun!
*Tokul requires a permit to ride! $10 for a day or $60 for the year sqrecreation.com/. Riding without a permit could get MTB banned from this land!

Man these trails look fun! Conditions look great as well. Perfect timing on the video, I've been wanting to check out Tokul so this was super helpful

everyone makes those drops on Last Frontier and the chute on Fernz look easy. I am too much of a coward, I've walked them LOL...knowing my luck I'd miss the turn and roll down to the bottom of the hill on Frontier | Good stuff though!

I have a KZread Short of me rolling down the chute on Fernz 😂 There is definitely some pucker factor that the GoPro doesn't show!

That was my first time on PNWheel and it is awesome! Let me know if you're ever up in the I90 corridor and we can get a ride in together!
How are the riding conditions in mid June? I'll be in Seattle next month and would like to ride Tokul East. It looks pretty fun. How much of it is uphill?

Tokul gets pretty blown out when the weather starts to warm up. You can lap Tokul pretty easily with a ~700 foot climb to the top. I’d recommend riding Tiger Mountain or Raging River in June. Happy to show you around!
