That R26.R is undoubtedly my favourite car from this video! The driver wasn't quite as composed on track as you, but still plenty fast! Certainly faster than I would have been :P Great video!

Yes and the megane has a Manuel gear the Seat has not

@Jelwi HAF Haha... Nope. Megane has a classic manual gearbox that's it. Cupra has dual clutch transmisson and even in manual mode, manual gearbox has no chance with it. M2 R26 has more power, only because of that it's faster than Cupra :D

Hey I just bought this R26r from Paul. I'll be at the ring end of August. Had to make some geometry adjustments to suspension and tires changed to Cup sport 2 so hopefully should perform well! Looking forward to the ring!

Wow! That Megane's driver is as aggressive as a Honda driver, I loved that wheel to wheel. Make more videos with him if possible. Cheers from Brazil and take care.

Basically he let nobody pass after that mégane III RS so people can make up their own mind, hot hatch drivers have a bit of a bad reputation aswell

not exactly .. just different turbo (of course ;-)) .. 460 hp

Der R26R hebt schön das Beinchen in der Eiskurve :D

Wenn man schon schnell ist, dann aber der Partycrasher aka gt3 auftaucht :D

Hallo Thilo ! Der Megane 400+ PS ? Na ja. Es kann auch sein, daß das Tuning schlecht gemacht ist und das du deshalb Vorteile hast, oder der Fahrer ist nicht voll auf den Pin getreten, was natürlich auch sein kann. Tolle Runde von Dir.

Herjee, der hatte ja richtig Leistung, ging ja wie die Hölle, von hinten sieht das ja noch schneller aus als im Spiegel 👍🏻

Yo Thilo! can i make a couple questions? From what i've seen you have plenty experience with both manual gearbox and double clutch cars since you've gone both Megane and Cupra. What did entertain you the most? Manual or DSG? Which is more fun to you? which is more connected? Would you have a manual 7-Spd in the Seat?

I meant 6/7 speed manual vs a 6/7 speed DSG... In case you had the opportunity to chose between identical ratio gearboxes... but DSG vs manual.... which is more fun to you :)

Speaking of the DSG, have you had any issues with overheating? My GTI's DSG overheated a few weeks ago when it wasn't even that hot out (~70 degrees Fahrenheit).

die cam hinten hat leider nicht geklappt :-/ wär noch spannender gewesen .. hab ständig in den rückspiegel geschaut weil er dicht dran war :)

swapped? you mean with different engine? no its a clio cup .. from hohe acht down to brünnchen is perfect clio track ;)

Yes nowadays it's very common to see a clio with a F4RT engine, either 225/230 or 250/265. Because it looks quick !

yes .. 1-2 laps till the tire pressure is okay.

doch, die sind nur sehr "empfindlich" .. sieht man nicht so auf dem video. fahre immer im manual modus

My daily driver is..... A r26r. Not practical, not reliable and crap in the wet on UK roads.....and I don't care. Love it

The fuck kind of work did the R.26R have, heavy engine work or a swap? I've never seen one that had more than 300hp.

Damn that's crazy ! He just doubled the power and when you know this car just weights 1230 kg... It's now 2.7 kg/hp !!!

i had the megane for 4 years .. great car! at the ring nobody underestimates the megane rs. but in this video you can see that the setup and performance is not soooo good .. as it has way too much power :) so you cant really compare.

Dans le titre les Mégane sont préparés, parce que je ne connais pas de Mégane de série à 400cv ou 360cv ??!! Une Mégane avec 400cv et la Cupra qui suit j'y crois pas, il y a eu une Mégane de 500cv préparé par Dijon sport avec record du tour et là surement pas une Cupra ou autres de série au cul !!
