@@carsaccelerationstv484 Totally agree, when I got my cupra I test drove a golf R off the lights it was insane other than that it felt flat and very safe. Fwd is good controlled fun.

Mk3 is fastest but also too civilised. Mk1 is most fun. The cupra for me has always been Golf GTIs angry brother. Mk3 pitched itself as Golf R power in a Golf GTI FWD drive system, which sounded great fun, and was, but it felt too sensible still because it was so well built. Mk4 is the same recipe, just uglier. So yeah, typeR nowadays is more fun, but I guess a cupras market segment is that performance but a bit less nuts.

It feels like on the latest models, you have to upgrade the car really hard to feel something, whereas in older cars, even from factory you could have some sensations !

I had a mk1 Cupra R for 14 years, then a mk2 Cupra. Mk2 is WAY more fun.
Oh I owned a 1st gen in 2004 and a mk2 in 2009... a long time ago...souvenirs...🙂

@@Cansislol I keep mine stock because there’s literally no race track in Singapore. A 55 whp increase is already more than enough to lose traction

@@tavorrulez All good m8. Didn't mean to offend you personally. Just meant that the engine can produce and take a lot of more power than that. With the right tires you don't have to worry about losing traction until maybe 450 hp.

@@Cansislol oh no im not offended lol. I just thought I’d point it out. The car currently costs around 184K Euros. I’m one of those people who wants to get a nice car and avoid any sort of mechanical headaches. I’m on PS5s. The weather in Singapore also affects rubber compound quality too
good job I have a 2019 mk3 320 horses 410 Nm full origin I'm under 5 seconds 0-100 kms it's a fantastic car the best of its category.

From the first series of elon cupra there are 80 hp of difference less compared to the last one. and on the 0-100 only 1 second difference. Long live the old 1,800 turbo.

Sadly no comparison with AWD. Its much faster than FWD. :)

It's just a vz (don't really know what it stands for) with the 2.0 tfsi, they are not planing on releasing the vz5 yet !

I've always liked the mk1, the design is so unique ! and the 1.8t is such a good engine too ! What a nice car 😍
La seat cupra r elle fait sois 300cv ou 310cv elle peut pas faire moins moins c'est la seat cupra normale qui fait sois 280 ou 290cv et la première la plus puissante c'est la 6 cylindre

J'ai mit l'image d'une cupra R mais j'ai bien mit une cupra normale en vidéo. Vu le nombre de commentaires dessus j'aurais vraiment pas du haha, je le trouvais juste plus jolie comme à la fin où j'ai mit une cupra prépa ABT en photo (pas eu de commentaires là dessus d'ailleurs). Et ouais pour la première j'ai aussi eu des commentaires là dessus, j'ai préféré mettre le 4cyl car je trouve que ça restait pas mal dans le thème avec les autres 4 cyl et jpensais garder le 6cyl pour le comparer à d'autre 6cyl du groupe VAG (golf 4 r32 par exemple). Mais merci pour le commentaire !

Lol ...for me mk2 is most beautiful Leon ever and the easiest to modified and mk1 is the ungliest ...(I don't own a Seat , i have a Golf Gti ) .. It's obviously subjective!
