I used this and am thoroughly impressed. I bought the dye for my 98 eagle talon tsi awd. Sent in my vin and they sent me a perfect match. I grew up doing art so this came naturally to me and I used a bit of my own creativity. I cleaned the leather, deglazed with acetone, I also used acetone on a magic eraser on the rough cracked areas to buff our the rough spots. I then applied light layers and used the hair dryer method. My seats look brand new. I'm so happy with this.

I just finished doing my husband’s truck, Wow this product is amazing, it was easy to apply and the results were amazing!

Its a freak show how well this works and how perfectly the color matches.

Product worked wonderfully. Not to mention some of the best customer service I've encountered with any online vendor ever. Guy is legit people!

Can you post a video showing how to apply your crack filler, prior to dying the leather?

I purchas this dye for my 1994 Cadillac Eldorado (Montana Blue) it matches perfectly, and I'm happy with the results.

I used this product on my Nissan Murano steeringwheel and it looks GREAT. I am VERY happy with how it turned out. Looks like new! I would totally recommend this for touchups, repairs, and etc.

Subscribed. And purchased product. Well explained Tutorial Video. Highly recommend watching this if you care about you car seats. I just received my bottle. Perfect match and easy repair. Watching this video prepared me in advance and made the process so easy. Great communication from Andy throughout the process.

I’ve used it several times, it’s great. Match was perfect, Towncar and Durango. Next my Alfa Romeo and the Abarth.

My son and I are so glad we found the Seat Doctors videos and website. I bought him a 2012 Hyundai Elantra with black leather seats, but the color was worn in numerous areas to a bare leather color. They matched the color exactly, based off the vin of the car and "WOW!" the rear seat look amazing. We're getting ready to work on the front ones now. The cost of the dye is well worth the price and much cheaper than replacing the seats (even with something from the junkyard). I Recommend watching the videos entirely and following the steps as demonstrated and explained.

Looking forward to trying this product on my seats. Just made the purchase.

Thank you for sharing. This was so helpful. But I have an acura with dove gray seats. My driver seat has a blue stain that I can't remove with cleaners. I purchased the dye from seat doctors- exact match but will I have to dye the entire section of the car seat for a stain in the middle of the seat? My test patch is a good match but it seems a little lighter. Maybe additional coats will look darker?

I applied conditioner about a week ago and noticed some light spots on black Lexus seats. Do I need to use alcohol to remove the conditioner before using your dye?

So I have a brand new Mazda CX-30 Preferred with parchment colored seats and got tree sap from SOMEONE 🤬 leaving the sunroom open. I got the sap off, but it took the color off or maybe it's just what won't come off of the leather. ANYWAY, ordered the parchment color as per instructured by Andy. I'm waiting for it to arrive, and was wondering what would you recommend I use to apply? A painter's brush , a makeup sponge ....Its basically a long straight thin line and then a few droplets on the bottom. Thank you!!!

I got the Seat Doctors oyster for my Mercedes 320clk 2002. I am applying it today like in the video with folded paper towels very carefully per video. The color so far is inconsistent and spotty, after two light coats. Is there anyway to make it more consistent other than carefully applying more coats?

great video , so how do i fix uneven color spots ? i apply around 4 coats already and still getting some spots with a lighter color than the rest of the seat :/ also on one spot you can see streak of paint.

You are doing good

I have used this product as well. Unfortunately the filler doesn't hold up. If you apply it to the piece of leather that gets stretched when you sit-down or get up it will crack. The paint is disappointing as it comes off if you use rubbing alcohol and most likely will come off if using another cleaner. It should not happen to leather dye. You need to apply seven coats to make it even if not using spray gun. The leather texture is lost by the time you are done. Overall great for car flippers but I am not one of them. Color matching was not very close in my case, definitely noticeable if you don't paint the entire interior but this could vary. 1 filler is not enough for 1 seat and they claim it is enough for the entire vehicle. So get 2 of them if you have a lot of repairs and don't expect magic. Overall the seats look better, but I need to find filler alternative. Tired of reapplying and repainting...

I ordered some dye last week to fix the steering wheel in my 996 turbo. I was cleaning it and some of the dye came out. That looks like a 944 or 911 seat.

what about the filler and the leather coat? or you dont have to use them?

How long should you allow each coat to dry using the sponge brush method ? Is it only until it flashes with the hair blower or is there a specific time

I have been searching for the best DIY method of repairing the damage to my leather seats (2009 Honda Accord Sedan EX-L) and your products appears to be the best solution. I didn't want to have to use a spray gun to apply the leather dye. The process you demonstrated is simple and effective. To that I say, "SOLD!"

Used the dye on my acura tl tan colour. Perfect match but few streaks. Hope it fades away when it dries. Overall great product. Not sure when to apply conditioner after dye. From Toronto Canada

So, to make sure I understood you correctly, I should condition the leather prior to applying the dye?...with all dry of course. You did a superb job.

For anyone that follows, no, do not condition the leather, only clean it with a water based cleaner (Lexol or Simple Green) first. Conditioner will leave a residue. Clean, apply dye, let dry, apply second coat, let dry (third coat if needed), let dry for a few days afterward. Then conditioner every six months or so. 👍

No, do not apply conditioner first, it will leave residue. Clean the area with water-based product (Lexol or Simple Green), let dry for a few hours. Then apply dye, let dry. Apply second coat and let dry. Apply third coat if needed and let dry. Let area dry for a few days before applying conditioner. Condition every six months or so. 👌

Can you match oyster white for a 1980 corvette with only a 13 digit vin number?

What product can i use to remove another dye i tried to use which did not match the color of my leather seat. Will something like the cleaner in your video do it ? I want to remove the prior product i used before i apply your recommended product.

You can usually go right over the incorrect color with the new dye, unless it's significantly different than the color you're applying.

The cracks I filled in with the gray filler, even after I sanded, won’t take the dye. I have brown leather and after multiple coats it just has a pink/red color to it where the filler is. What am I doing wrong?

How about the durability of this product? Will it hold up to wear?

Is there something I can mix with the dye to change the hue?

The color definitely matches my seats but for no reason no matter what I do, even if I use a little bit less or little bit more dye it always makes streaks and doesnt spread evenly even though I follow all the steps in the video

unfortunately I have a pretty large gash in my seat, a tear. do you recommend just replacing the leather altogether?

Normally a bottle stays good for about a year. After that the additives in the dye tend to separate don't want to mix back in properly.

Where do I buy the color paint? Need something similar go the color you are using. How to I go about getting color match for car?

I emailed the company my vin number and andy told me which color to buy.

repairing a steering wheel without any filler and getting incredible results, I'm gonna be able to restore my entire car with one bottle and thing of filler! If you have anything other than black (and honestly black too, theres so many blacks) don't bother with Clyde's... terrible return policy and much smaller amounts.

Good morning! At least 48 hours, but depending on the extend of the repair and the temperature/humidity, sometimes it's best to wait up to 2 weeks afterward.

Buy this company's product you won't be disappointed, we are extremely satisfied with the end results.

I got to be kidding I just bid my seat paid more and it was back breaking had to take seat out and it was a spray pain can 25 each.

If it dries just poke them out with a toothpick

Tap, do not wipe! Use a foam brush and tap the dye on the leather.
