Hi, I’m a casual player. I played eternal D4 and 2 season (I skipped one) as a sorcerer and I changed my class this season to Necro. I found your channel and it’s really cool. Thanks for your advices and recommendation because it really helps me to play better. I started a new build according your video and my necro is truly stronger than my own sorcerer build in highest level. So I am so thankful. I still have a problems with glyphs, to choose the right one. I suppose I need to rewatch your videos again!

Great guide, but you really should have gameplay included, preferably at the beginning. Most people want to see if the build looks fun. If it does, then you want the details :)

I think taking the 20% res to all is better than using multiple paragon points over multiple boards that could be used to get better crit damage or other multipliers.

What stats do you need on the items for the necro? what are the stats prio.

You are not able to reduce the CD of Bonespirit below 3sec. Additional to that, many of the muliplier you are referring to, are not working. It's outdated.

Love your guides, the only thing that kind of feels like it is missing is just a small preview of the gameplay. A small section showing the specs clearing would be very nice for those of us who are a bit more visual, and helps show how everything come together in practice :) Granted, this video has one - but it's very small and precedes the build explanation.

do you have a list which affixes are prefered in the gear? on the build guide i couldnt see any, they were all empty. Thanks for the build, sounds amazing. I dont understand why people are hating, you were hitting the dummy, thats how you play the build xD

How did you get your bone spirit cooldown to none? I have the build copied prefectly other than the full paragon and the unique pants and I have roughly a 2-3 second cooldown on my spirit

@gross.3906 so there's currently a bug that was not present on the PTR. Currently Rapid Ossification is not lowering the cooldown of Bone Spirit which makes this entire build almost unplayable unless can get 3 pieces of gear with CDR, hit 5 CDR masterworks, and have one of those rolls be a greater affix. Until they fix this bug I would not recommend playing this build unfortunately.

This is season 4 stuff :) In season 3 you can get it somewhat equal good but not as good as!

Apart from decrepify, is there any other cooldown reduction mechanics require, such that we can spam bone spirit in a single target boss fight? Thanks in advance.

Yes Tempering & CD on Items

So if you have 100% crit without grasping veins… Is blood artisans cuirass an option somewhere? Grasping veins used to get my blood necro like 10-20 blood orbs each cast. 4 free bone spirits would be great. Machine gun bone spirits. Don’t see Tibaults Will being super beneficial without actually playing with it myself in the build so it could be swapped depending on the situation.

I am going with the minion build until at least level 90 before switching to Bone Spirit. It seems like this build isn't for leveling but for fighting bosses.

but is this better then the shadow dot minion build ?

Could you level with this? or better to level with bone spear and spec into it later?

This is more an endgame spec - I would not level with this :) Wait for lvl 70/80 than swap to this!

You cannot take two resource tempering stats like that, on ring is one offensive and one resource :)

Did they take out the ranks for skills from tempering? I can’t find them :(

you can not get macabre skill points from the neck

About your skill tree. You was talking about making choice for passives. I guess you forgot to remove 4 point into blight. We can see 4/5 on blight skill at the begining of the video. So... No need choice, you can put almost all passives to 3/3 :p

99% sure he has gear giving him +ranks to blight, as he is respeccing the skill tree those 4 ranks are there before he even got to second cluster.

For season 4 I'm going with "Nyx", goddess of the night in Greek mythology. She'll be stomping helltides the moment S4 drops. I did a test run of Sever minions on hardcore to level 35 last night in season 3 and honestly it already feels great. I can imagine the power fantasy when all minions get all my stats.

Swelling Curse IS a damage multiplier cuz it your maximum essence is increased by 2 for each enemy hit for 15 second which is really good for dungeons. There are def better options for bossing tho

Swelling curse is only a damage multiplier if you have maximum essence full :)

@@P4wnyhof That is true.. but in addition to your ways of essence generation, you could use the other bone spirit that restores 30% instead of the 10 crit chance since Swelling Curse will give 25 that way you are more likely to consistently reach near max essence. You have a lot of crit in this build, I doubt you'd need the extra 10 but this is just my take on it. Yours seems pretty consistent regardless

In general unique in s4 will be weaker than optimized crafted items (because can t craft unique affix asaik). Even uber unique might not be bis lol.

That's the problem right now. We can only theorycraft what wasn't specifically done on the PTR. And a lot of things changed with the last patch after PTR. This build is more about building on what someone else did, to give their on take/flair on it. How it will perform overall, we will have to wait for S4 before we can judge it fully.

​@@raylewis5514I think they let s3 run longer due to the overhaul of the itemization and codex systems and doing a ptr to get feedback prior to its release, so it wouldn't be a train wreck.

Is this confirmed as a bug or is it that this is now working as intended? Although not in the wording I would have thought rapid ossification would only effect "Active" cooldowns. Bone spirit shouldn't be active until after it's cast.

@@adamcurry531 if this is the case the only viable build for necromancer is minion, which i guess is the blizzard way. Not to mention reapers are also bugged as they reduce cd and give corpses on the most meta class on the most meta spec yet no one talks about it. Everyone is just content with one spec (being golem or skele mage variants) just being the only spec played.

This isn't season 4 build.
