I like there being some more different survivors being in S tier for once but like wow, it’s clear netease has a popularity bias when nerfing characters cause they’re actually nerfing Aeroplanist before Anti or Cheerleader that’s ridiculous😭

@@maximovelazquez6884ik she’s been nerfed before but she’s still absolutely busted, she’s one of my favs to play but even i agree she’s stupid easy to get 3-5 cipher kites with against 90% of hunters. I agree Priestess also needs a nerf but she’s atleast less frustrating to play against because she doesn’t prevent you from playing the game for half the match.

@@surprised376she’s still busted despite the nerfs and Cheerleader really needs a nerf, her cooldowns are way too low, her harass cannot be countered by an excitement pick and forces hunter counterpicks, she also has MAP WIDE support from her cooldown reduction.

tbf aero is pretty good in tourneys but he still shouldn't be getting nerfed before priestess and mfing sangria

As someone who is coming back after a couple years of inactivity, this video was actually really helpful to learn the various nerfs and buffs from over the years. For example I had no idea TME had a speed boost from uncrouching and that Coord has a speed boost near pallets

As a main Composer myself in rank, Sadly Composer need SERIOUS BUFFS, he's Just a character with so much potencial

The moment I saw a puppeteer tank 3 hits from my violinist and still make the rescue I knew that was broken

Puppeteer is basically merc with no decoding debuff which is kinda ridiculous. Ability that allows him to kite virtually any hunter for at least 3 ciphers even sangria. Can take multiple hits, counters chip hunters. And is somehow top 3 rescuer without being a rescue. They had to make a male survivor to live up to antis hype.

i think opera's the counter to him (as kill target) as he doesn't get an on-hit speed boost for an absorb attack (so she's proper right on his ass again seconds later) but a surv that takes 8 hits to kill still sucks even for her, and while they're both wildly overtuned chars she prol won't go for him and will suffer when he's on rescue like any hunter

Wildling is extremely underrated, my friends even beg me to bring him on rank, since he can easily travel far distances and safely reach the chaired teammates. Plus if you time the boar to fake a hit for yourself, so hunter will get a recovery, then you can rescue without worrying about ts. AND your boar cooldown time passes on chair, so if you get rescued, hop on a boar instantly and just run away. Trust me, hunters will have bad times with this guy. Tho there are for sure some hunters that can counter him, like Gamekeeper, but everyone has their counter side. PS: Composer needs his own segment called “Composer” on the very bottom. He’s just bad at every aspect. Just play lawyer.

​@@yohaneskevin1541composer can be amazing in good hands tho. just learn how to kite without relying too much on your item and you'll be okay (most people rely on his item too much and that's why they consider him 'weak'). surely there are better characters to play but he's not as bad as some people make it seem.

@@medpoclvr i mean no offense but, isn't it the same as lawyer for kiting? Lawyer himself can see hunter location for any sudden attack, the difference are lawyer got veteran buff, no terror shock, and having a slight buff that'll slightly helpful for his kite... While composer got the speed boost for easier transition, all the task just seems not worth than lawyer easy going

I feel like they weighed a lot on the mechanic nerfs cause I really liked playing with her but nowadays it seems like she just exists in the game and doesn't do anything else It's kind of sad, I know she needed nerfs but I wanted her to be at least usable

at least if they removed bot calibrations it'd up qol of playing her a lot + not impact her much in top-end play (which is what she's balanced around, and in quite fine margins making things miserable for the rest due to that -35%/-70% decode penalty coming in hot)

29:51 just a thought from me, but in contemporary terms, fg is maybe more of a priestess counter than wheel, in the 'if i catch you out and you have to make portals i can mess you up' sense while fg can deny a surface for portal creation + eat a charge for trying, as a wheel player.. what i'm thinking of when i see priestess: long portal (transform --> hit --> walk --> transform --> map traversal --> she hides --> GUH), vertical portals, portals on awkward terrain that take several sec to GET INTO, it's like puppeteer in sense that ye wheel mitigates them but they're still huge risks

Is lawyer meta? From useless to niche, damn

Next year it's gonna be a 5-hour tier list 😂 Also at this point I think the highest tier should be called Antiquarian and Friends because she's such a menace if you chase her, if you don't chase her, and even if you bring excitement your excitement cooldown is way longer than her swing cooldown so you will eventually get a stick up the ass after you excitement the first time. I also think Antiquarian's support is more reliable compared to Cheerleader who has to cheer for a long time before giving enough stacks for self-pickup

As much as I wanna say that the circumstances of matches and team comps influence the tier list, I have to agree that this gives quite a realistic idea of how well survivors work. When I okay with my sister, we play together, as seer and mercenary, and so we have a high winrate. If we were playing with other characters, we probably wouldn’t win as much.

Good job, but I'm unsure about Gardner. While she may not consistently excel at chair-breaking in most games, her bubble ability is remarkably powerful. She can use it for rescues near chairs and bodyblocking, even while wounded. Concerns about chip hunters are valid, yet encounters with them are not constant, and evasion is possible. Therefore, she can execute excellent rescues. Additionally, her bubble counters numerous hunter abilities, such as Bloody Queen's mirror, and you can get a speed boosts with windows or pallets. if Dream Witch's leech (the one that's specifically made for you) targets her bubble, it disappears, and it can even counter Naiad's water at 80% capacity or more and some other Hunters that i probably forgot to mention,combining Tide with her bubble near the gate during detention secures a potential victory. However, her effectiveness ultimately relies on the player's skill. This represents her maximum potential, yet not all players may utilize her effectively. I feel like if lucky guy would be higher if he is paired with someone he can support by providing items to the survivors who provide a buff towards using their respective items, but then who would actually benefit from it maybe just first officer, forward and coordinator

well to be fair thrif does also have incresase calibrations which perfect calibrations do increase decoding by 1%

With Puppeteer, one of the craziest things about him is that he is able to counter hunters just because their attack speed is too slow, and that isn't really something that's healthy for the game. That being said, there are a few hunters who're more then capable of burning through the puppets efficient enough that they can sort of serve as a counter pick? Axeboy can set up fireball hits against puppetteer consistantly enough that while it isn't a great matchup it's still managable, and so long as he isn't first chase (Unless you're a god with Reptilian) luchino can for the most part manage the puppets. He's definently not the healthiest survivor for the game, but if you're good enough with certain hunters he's managable. Also as a Luchino main, on a lot of maps he can counter priestess, so long as it isn't a roofed area. It's definently more difficult to use him as a priestess counter then the ones you described, but he's still capable of serving that roll in most non-Moonlight maps.

I have been interested in. If the mechanic plays stealthily and doesn't run from the hunter, and a team has a good healing character, like the psychologist, will she feel good as a playing character? She will be better yes! If a psycho was on the team. But even if u play stealthily I feel like with Quenching effect it outlines where u are and and doll is Sometimes the hunter won’t even chase u. So if ur stealthy u could also waste time. And that time wasted ur survs probs got a hit :’)) I feel like that’s the biggest issue xD She works in tourneys since everyone can kite well but not in rank sadly

And a great video ( =O'w'O= ) I play as a forward, but I want to try playing her one day because of the slight similarity to my main (Dream Witch) I usually hide in places where being chased by a hunter is almost guaranteed( Like the lakeside center or near the red church benches). Only in Wu Chang and Photographer's games have I seen playing with Quenching, and did not think that this was a popular skill

FO has a 20% additional longer chair time as well, while Mercs is only 10%

Yes literally who cares if Matthias got healed or not, cuz after the rescue and he has 50% fear, it's like no fear to him if he uses Louis and can tank 2 normal attacks right after rescue. Also can tank detention hit when full health. Really strong character.

Kevin is definitely now more effective.

Explorer is the one survivor you don't have to worry about if he is good. He lacks any debuffs, and his entire kit is dedicated to making him able to be both extremely hard to find and also able to rotate the hunter without the fear of being found. And his pages make it so that anti Cypher rush builds are harder to be work. Most good explorers don't need a kitting build since he is able to prevent getting chased way better than everyone else. He would be higher for me if it wasn't cause of how bad teammates can be

I would like to ask guys what do you think about hunters accessories on the new cowboy? Personally I think they didn't really matter on the old cowboy, but with this new cowboy I'm not that sure... Mainly because one thing, "Insta - Lasso" With insta lasso you can basically recuse without giving the hunter a chance to react, of course is not as good as it used to be, but is ok. It Is as simple as looking up, wait for the animation to finish and boom you got it. But I'm not sure is it just me, but whenever I play cowboy I encounter many carrying effects, being specially annoying to insta lasso. Mainly because of two things "Timing" because of the new animation, "Positioning" specially with joseph and similar... This wouldn't be such a problem to me if I could practice their new hitbox but the problems comes when you realize that "YOU CANT" because you either have a friend with all hunters accessories or you'll need to learn by repeating lose after lose for a long time until you get how to proper Insta - Lasso against accessories... What do you think about this guys or do you have some tip to handle this?

I think in that sense just hold the lasso. 2 reason. First being the fact that most surv down away from chair anyways so it’s not a necessity to always insta lasso. Even if the hunter is hugging the surv (like Ann) u can still lasso from as I’ve seen before I feel. I think you’re too focused on insta lasso! Insta lasso is good but I still think in that sense holding would probs be better. Another thing is that hunter all have the same animations when it comes to balloon rescue. If they pick up the surv different you can probs predict it’s a accessory carry!

not the 3 characters i use being in team comp dependant, painter, luchino and little girl when I only play by myself and just use whoever I'm feeling, I'm one of those players that don't pay attention to who my teammates are using until one of them are getting hit or im on rocket chair waiting for someone to save

its not all about breaking chairs her bubble saves so many lives teleport at gate at dungeon and etc

Am I the only one who really believse that Forward need a very big adjusment or a buff I feel like he needs more football at least 6 seconds added to his total he just feels not as good and Ento being higher than him is nutty asf I can't believe my boy :(

Sorry for starting the cowboy buff/nerf drama again but I just wanna point out how unplayable he is without full vc team, most of the time random teammates fall near chair and don’t try to reach corners, and even if you lasso rescue 3 times they will not struggle free. He became a lot worse for people who play with randoms and that’s why people still think it’s a nerf and not a buff

so have a serious kiter play cowboy who is happy to instalasso right on top of chair and then run off with the downed surv, forcing the hunter to chase and hit a hard player to get their chair in the first place

How could they make such a strong survivor as puppeteer he is so strong and there is hardly any counter against him and also he is one of the easiest survivors you just need to tap the ability button and you have one of the strongest ability and it has no cooldown it is so BROKEN. Now the game is more survivor sided then ever hopefully he gets a huge nerf soon.

I actually think you’re wrong with first officer that naib actually better than him with the save cuz he actually can rescue from I lot of hunters with out getting injured that niab can it do also he is fast with coddling and hard to kite niab I think hunters can do something with his skill but it s really depends on the player

@@danielorlovaquinn bring a hunter who can attack through walls like vio/sculptor/g26/fg and run street sweeper instead for a fun time if the map's wall heavy i run 3/3 street sweeper in default duo persona and often am just the worst hunter to be doctor against since i'm often fg/g26/sculptor, bit like tarot where i'll lock sculptor in a heartbeat vs a doctor king and keep clairvoyance going constantly and crush her the instant she stops to heal

imo seer is just kinda meh nowadays. his owl when protecting other people reduces the hunter’s attack recovery by 30%

Lucky guy can contain pretty well though I run flashlight and stopwatch solo ranking because the flashlight just stalls really well you just need pallets, if the hunter decides to destroy pallets that's a free stun and the watch works well to stay up as long as my teammates actually decode usually 2 ciphers are already done and one on the way when I just go down, sure he's not anything special but he's pretty underrated I found out pretty quickly that the gun is practically useless and it doesn't do anything the watch and flashlight can't

@@Anonymous-kp7pr if you ever played a game before every characters must have their own buffs and debuffs. Good kiters doesn't really get effected by his slow pallet stun also it's not that slow as to be compared with the decoders like tme and mechanic.
