The reasoning being that titanfall 2 failed (EA chose the release date to be after new years right after both cod and Battlefield released their new games) EA Set titanfall up for death and now control respawn like puppets, none of this BS is at the hands of respawn

EA has made more than 2-3 BILLION dollars on a game. Highest a video game, totally built from scratch, including creating a new game engine, might cost 300-500 million, so yeah, none of it is getting reinvested into the game.
