bro idk if this is just me but Shaco feels so weak this season. Especially AP jungle/Hybrid jungle. he was one of the few champs that actually benefited from the way riot incentivized players to itemize with the old mythic system and was helped by the extra stats mythics like liandrys gave him. I always built liandrys but any other item was on the table; collector, demonic, morello, zhonyas, or even axiom arc. But now since Shaco’s best stat by far is ability haste, there’s not a lot of overly offensive options for AP Shaco unless you want to be a glass cannon with a 10 second cd for Q which feels AWFUL compared to S13. Shaco isn’t a mage. He’s a specialist/anticarry in my eyes and the new AP items just don’t quite work for him. Cosmic drive feels really clunky compared to before, malignance doesn’t feel like an appropriate power spike, and while stormsurge seems like a GREAT item for him, I found it extremely difficult to burst people down and use its passive appropriately. And the trade off for no ability haste was just not worth it in my eyes. I hope Shaco isn’t this weak forever but damn, he’s gonna miss mythics for sure.

get both the ability haste runes, then take cdr boots, its enough ability haste and a small sacrifice of magic pen, but the new items make up for the loss of damage

@@simpicusmaximus yea that’s fair honestly. in the early days especially with mythics like duskblade being way too overtuned and mages having only like three realistic options for mythics before they added rod of ages back💀 it was not a perfect system.

Not gonna lie man, sounds more like a skill issue than a item issue. In my games so far shaco feels so overpowered, easiest ganks ever on top lane, free clone dive on mid lane, and one shooting the enemy bot between the turrets thanks to the new bush. The only problem I've found so far is that shaco struggles against the voidlings since they one shot your boxes so can't apply neither fear or the box's damage

Does the clone's autoattack do damage to the enemy? Because i played shaco recently and i think it doesn't anymore.

I just noticed one in Aram t least 4 times. If you place a trap right as a nidalee spear hits it, the trap doesn't take any dmg. Only really useful in ARAM, but interesting to know I think

AP Jug is really bad atm. I think it'll be better next patch. Tiamat>Malignance>Liandrys. Malignance is bugged atm though.

i don't think so... i can link you a guide for ap shaco jgl , but it is in french tho, the main ap shaco build for jgl would be liandry , cosmic drive , rift maker, lucidity boot (in general) , mandat (optional), rabadon , void staff. but zonhya is rly meeh..

Was only a test. Don’t think it’s good. Was gonna see how much damage it did overall and see if it was worth. I think till next patch the build is Ludens>nomicon>liandries or stormsurge depending enemies tankiness.

Riot definitely need to do something with this red trinket thing. I mean like remove possibility to have so many wards even without a yellow trinket. Remove wards from supp items for example or give it just 1 ward for an item. So you have to decide between haveing anti-ward thing or possibility to have vision on the map. Like some of your teammates would have to get red trinket whilst others have to get the yellow trinket to still be having vision on the map. If you know what i mean. Cuz now all your team can buy red trinkets (with 2 stacks) and still have all the map warded, which basically nullifies some of the champs. But hey, we all know riot's balance team...
