I'm new to the game, can someone explain how muting coms works? It looks like he deafens early in the video but later on he ends up typing to his team. When you deafen, do other people still see what you chat? Or did he likely un-deafen in some edited out section so that he could chat?

I think others can see your chats but you can't see theirs. Sometimes he unmutes to see what they say and then mutes again as far as I can tell
