I feel like Max's mum doesn't want him to get better because she always tries to condone his awful behaviour and just says he cant be forced. Like with the fruit she was annoyed that they would let him have chocolate or biscuits and she thought it was unacceptable that they were telling him what to do and now shes not making him do anything. No wonder he doesn't get better when his mum coddles him day and night.

I have ADD. I'm on the other end of the spectrum. If I were any more low key, I'd be sleeping. It GREATLY effects motivation and concentration. I never got in trouble in school, unless it was being punished for not having homework completed. Without being medicated, after "just passing" grades, I finally made it on the B Honor roll my senior year.. I still struggle greatly today and I'm 44 years old.

One issue... 3:50 This philosophy Drew explains...? *NO!* It is not anyone's problem if someone else gets offended by something they say. There will always be someone around to get offended. That's not an "us problem", that's a "them problem". Nobody is ever responsible for someone else's interpretation.
POV: you are reading all t he comments about how bad Max’s mom is and how she isn’t helping max change
Without Mr.Drew’s intervention at this age, the boys are at risk serving prison sentences when they are older
Who else realized that the children were bonded and united during their preparation for the match
Mr Drew showing the boys their behaviour virtually with the video of them misbehaving that is ingenious idea. you can clearly see how affective that was those boys observing their own behaviour by watching themselves act up and realising this is not the person I want to be maybe.
clark with the butterfly was so sweet

These boys all need to learn and understand that just because someone says something doesn't mean you have to fly off the handle, and that if you are annoyed speaking calmly and rationally about why you're annoyed will get you somewhere. Kicking off means that people stop listening to WHY youre annoyed or upset and instead they focus on WHAT youre DOING. You get places by being rational and reasonable.

Just saying in this specific video... even if Dom had almost no major reaction, it still hurts on the inside.
What about the boy who was calling him names? Please tell me he was disciplined for bullying. Because even though life contains no guarantees that people won't "wind you up", it's a very damaging part of society to allow boys to bully without consequences. They need to shown that this behavior isn't acceptable as well. It starts now, when they're young. Otherwise they'll grow into adult bullies.
