I feel like Max's mum doesn't want him to get better because she always tries to condone his awful behaviour and just says he cant be forced. Like with the fruit she was annoyed that they would let him have chocolate or biscuits and she thought it was unacceptable that they were telling him what to do and now shes not making him do anything. No wonder he doesn't get better when his mum coddles him day and night.

I never got in trouble in school, unless it was being punished for not having homework completed. These boys all need to learn and understand that just because someone says something doesn't mean you have to fly off the handle, and that if you are annoyed speaking calmly and rationally about why you're annoyed will get you somewhere. Kicking off means that people stop listening to WHY youre annoyed or upset and instead they focus on WHAT youre DOING. You get places by being rational and reasonable.

Umm... friend.... y’know even if that kid was shorter than 5ft, he still is respected like any other persons. Individuality needs to be expressed! Kinda ironic as that bully is prolly like barely 5ft 1 and bullying Dom, but I’m not holding it against him.

What about the boy who was calling him names? Please tell me he was disciplined for bullying. Because even though life contains no guarantees that people won't "wind you up", it's a very damaging part of society to allow boys to bully without consequences. They need to shown that this behavior isn't acceptable as well. It starts now, when they're young. Otherwise they'll grow into adult bullies.
