sell the lead on eBay for 1 buck or more per pound - put 10 lbs in USPS sm priority box....tape it up good. bullet makers buy it, sell as is random sizes....good vid and good luck on that river

In those places where the fishing weights gather, other similar heavy objects gather there as well. Like big coins and big rings. Aquachigger has a video of him raking and raking out a hoard of coins in a very similar crack/bedrock area. You know other heavy objects are there. Same concept for finding gold. Could warrant more time and energy in those places.

The pot you found . Take it and put it on the top rack of the oven up side down with out a pan under it . Put a pan on the second rack directly under the pan . Let your oven go threw its cleaning cycle and all the gunk rust and any cooked on grease will pop off . I have always been told it works quiet well . If you try it let use know if it worked . The rust I am not sure of but the other stuff will pop off once the oven reaches its self cleaning temperature that is normally around 500 degrees .
