Searching for the Himalayas' Ghost Cats | Podcast | Overheard at National Geographic

Ойын-сауық

National Geographic’s editor at large Peter Gwin travels to the Himalayas to join photographer and National Geographic explorer Prasenjeet Yadav on his search for snow leopards, one of the planet’s most elusive animals in one of its most forbidding landscapes. Himalayan communities have long regarded the snow leopards as threats to their livelihoods, but conservation efforts and tourism are changing the way people see them.
Tracking snow leopards in the Himalayas. Looking for ancient microbial life on Mars. Uncovering the truth about Amazon warriors. Unraveling a mapmaker’s dangerous decision. Join us for curiously delightful conversations, overheard at National Geographic headquarters. Hosted by Peter Gwin and Amy Briggs.

Fewer numbered snow leopards demand attentive conservation projects from worldwide wildlife organizations to ensure their safety and eradicate the possibility of their extinction.

If you notice any starving keep an eye on survival habit instincts. This had been studied by observation of 🦁 Lions. Parasites invaded their paws causing infection. The only surviving cats Patting their paws on rocks to rid themselves of the parasites were healthier 🤷‍♂️😁👍💫🌎❤️✅ By the way good job Godspeed sincerely from Larry Whittington your Buddy 🐝 an all team earth. 🌏 😁👍😳😷👍
