Great video! Thank you! I always want to use my phone but as much of an investment they are nowadays, I’m just too worried to get it wet. Though, totally used one of those pouch things that leaked once and I am still using the phone… haha. But I invested in an Olympus Tough TG6, and I quite like that so far. A little better for photos than the go pro was for me. But I do think I’d like my phone even better. Maybe because I’m so used to it. 🤔 I’m glad to hear other people get cold in warm waters too. Haha.

@@melissasullivan2080 interesting question Miss Melissa, I would have to say yes, pine trees poop pine needles, acorn trees deficate acorns, walnuts are starfished from walnut trees, and maple trees give sticky runny, so yea I’d say yes ma’am to do tree’s shit!!!!

I have the gdome and I am going to add a ring magnet to it to hold the camera in place. I think the touchscreen issue was caused by not closing the lid correctly and trapping enough air inside it.

Owned the Divevolk for over a year and have about 40 dives on it to as much as 130'. Never had a leak. Unfortunately, the pressure has cracked the back glass (not the screen) of my iPhone 13. The slide in adapter must have some pressure points that can cause the back glass to crack. Phone still works fine.

@@shangerdanger Will be trying it with my new iPhone 15 Pro Max in about 2 weeks on a trip down to Roatan. Got a new slide in adapter made specifically for the 15 promax. It's a bit different than the one I had for the 13 promax. So,🤞

I came here for underwater i phone case . But 0:02 your friends bubble butt took me to another world. Like the Dr Strange portal , your bubble Butt portal .

Divevolk has a bubble lens adapter for over/under and a bunch of lenses and such. Even a diving rig with lights

Funny how you mention Axisgo. I love mine but I agree the amount of $$$ they charge I basically spent $600 on it. Also the Bluetooth pistol would work but somehow it would stop working when I’m underwater. I wonder if it doesn’t like cold water. I am looking into the divevolk that looks more promising.

I have one of the “stupid” cases you mentioned. It protects my phone when I’m kayaking. It also floats, so my phone won’t sink to the bottom of the river or ocean.

Lol…I pretty much gave up using the phone to get underwater video every time we go to Hawaii in the past few years.I use a go pro. It does well with cooler water temperature.I just use a case for waterproofing and take pictures…above the water

I have an older GoPro and I'm debating between upgrading to a new Hero 11/12 or just getting a high quality case for my iPhone. @@othmansndis well if you argue about quality for some professional work, there are mirrorless low weight and small-sized cameras to go underwater dedicated for that application, which shoot way much better photos and videos than Iphone. GoPro quality is great enough for Vlogs, Travelung, Socialmedia etc.

i am using my iphone 14 pro max without any case on a daily basis and underwater and it works perfect. the charging port can give you a notification that water got it for about half an hour and then it dries and work perfectly fine. All iPhone are water proof now. And if you are using a wireless charger like me then you shouldn't worry at all. all this phone cases are garbage.

Incorrect! Apple states that their phones are “water resistant”. For example, the iPhone 12 and newer are water resistant up to 6m for 30 minutes. They also do not state that they are resistant to salt water corrosion.

The dome case has its purpose, which is to take half-submerged pictures. Also I’m pretty sure he doesn’t do above water sports :D

Agree. The cases you describe are for basic protection and portability. I use them so I can take my phone kayaking. Just ordered an orange Calicase which also floats. Incase I drop the phone while taking photos on a river or at sea. It’s a different use case than underwater photography.
