The word "hero" seems to be used loosely in Poland

Mostly by a small group of right-winged extremists, it is obvious they are the most active group here in comments section. Personally I find his story sad and tragic. The more I read about Waluś he seem to be a kind person who has been persuaded to do something horrible. However there should never be a place for gloryfing assassination like this. Of course I am afraid some political groups will try to make use of him in Poland, but if he served his sentence and is no longer a danger to anyone I think you should just let him go and live his last days where he wants to.
He did a great job

Please watch the clip, "What Umkonto we Sizwe did to civilians", which can explain who was Hani and who were Umkonto we Sizwe.
Communism was and still is an international enemy, therefore he did what was right. Take into consideration that he and his country had suffered under communism. Communism is still the enemy in South Africa, but due to the ANC keeping people uneducated, they'll never understand. They have to ask themselves why the Russian Federation rejected communism and since then Russia has grown exponentially and millions lifted out of poverty. But... the ANC knows that people that depend on the government will most probably vote for the government as long as they can blame apartheid and not themselves for their corruption and incompetence.
Of all the european I have met, the polish is one the most peaceful, accepting than any european. I did not find them racist and this why I believe that they poisoned his mind with bad ideas.
His real name was Khubah?

Damian Hadko a true hero for running away from his own country. Very weird way of being a hero. Hero to me are those brave people in Gdańsk who stood up to general Jeruzenski and martial law. Not a coward who looked for safe heavens in South Africa.

Ntsika Maki The difference is that the different Communist regimes really oppressed people, without giving them or the option of coexistence any chance. About 150 million people were killed by the different Communist regimes, while the number of people, killed in South Africa during the years 1948-1990, was about 21 thousand, mostly in "Black on Black" violence. This is the difference.

@@charlesscott4722 The government of Today's South Africa is Comopitalistic; it is for sharing the property of the helpful poor with the property of chronic parasites, but never the property of the super rich ruling class. And yes, during the many years all Capitalist and similar systems existed, many people were killed.
