I’ll be 100% completely honest, keep your videos the length they are. I tend to tune out or not even watch videos that are closer to an hour or more. It’s like making a film, so much of what gets put on film or digital now ends up on editing room floor. You’re a storyteller Kenny and always tell the story you wish to tell that’s what editing is for. What I get from this channel is a man and his dog going out and enjoying life and outdoors, not afraid to show his mistakes and humility and that’s really refreshing in today’s day and age with everyone who tries to present the perfect view through the screen of their life. Keep up the great work Kenny! Much appreciation from the Mitten State for your content.

I am 78 years old and take care of my husband (80) who has dementia. This morning was a difficult one for me as I only got three hours of sleep. I was feeling stressed. I decided to go on KZread Tube and watch your video. What good therapy for me to see the peace of your video and hear your voice. I especially like the pork rib recipe, think I will make this soon. Thank you Kenny, look forward to your videos each week. Love the quiet camping sites you go to. The state of Minnesota should pay you for your fantastic videos. They sure are a good guide for where to camp. Take care and be safe.

As a life long camper, I really appreciate you.. I love that you follow my grandpa's saying (he's from upper Michigan area and was disowned because he was an advocate for adventure 😊" . He always said --' LEAVE ONLY FOOTPRINTS AND TAKE ONLY PICTURES " .. I'm really glad to see you taking this a step further. CLEANING UP SOMEONE ELSE'S mess. I'm sorry people are so stupid.

As a guy who knows about punching in at 5 am and not getting off work until whenever , only to drive 2/3 hrs any given direction to go camping on the weekends . I fully understand where you are in life. I don’t think too many people would be mad if you had to push your upload to Wednesday so you can pack more content into the video. Just like everything in life that people on the outside looking in have an opinion on, it is your channel! You do what you do and I’m all in when it drops.

I know it takes a lot of time and effort to make these videos. Don’t let anybody discourage you or call you out on anything. Just remember there’s a bunch of us that look forward to seeing a new one every Tuesday.

The one thing I have heard from youtubers is that editing takes a lot of time. I can only imagine. For most youtubers, it's their main job, meaning most don't have other jobs like you do. So hopefully now that person understands why your videos are not longer. I enjoy your videos, they are calming and peaceful, which is what I like about your channel. I look forward to them.

Ten minute or an hour video I enjoy all of them, man Toby is really growing.

I think a lot of people who don't make videos and work a fulltime job have no clue about how difficult it is. It's because you're so good, lol! We're a small channel and it usually takes me at least 16 hours, often more to edit. Then gotta upload, create a thumbnail, description, etc. And doing it around a full time job too. We hope our videos can be as high quality as yours some day! There is a lot to learn. We appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos. Every Tuesday my husband comes home from work, hops in the shower, grabs his dinner and sits down to watch your video on his account. When I heard the criticism, I had to jump on our channel account and subscribed through that one and my own personal account too, lol! Not much but just want to show support. Hang in there!

I really appreciate the support! You are right. There is so much more to making videos then pressing record. I actually have a hard time talking on camera....well....I have a hard time talking in general. It's like I have verbal dyslexia. Sometimes my words get all garbled up! On tomorrow nights video I had a word fumble. I decided to leave it in anyways. I wish I was the type of person who could talk through segment in 1 take.....but most of the time when you see me say something on the video, it my 15th time recording it. That's also why I use B-roll while I'm taking. It is so I can splice in different takes. KZread isn't easy. Lol

Cleaning up the world, one campsite/campground at a time. You are a Godsend for the future of your fellow campers. And for the positive environmental impact. Wood ash on the trees. ❤ Thank you. I haven’t read any naysayers comments but I don’t anyway. They’re miserable and they want the rest of the world to be miserable as well.

Don’t ever let the haters get to you Kenny. Those of us who get it, know just how long it takes to edit a video. It’s TEDIOUS. Only a troll that has never even tried editing a video would criticize you. Keep doing you bother. We are all grateful for your videos! 🙏

I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating… You really do get some great B-roll footage… That storm rolling through, the huge turtle, and those geese skimming over the lake are just a few. And I knew the time would come when you would start getting so many comments that you wouldn’t be able to respond to all of them… A nice problem to have but please don’t worry about it. We know you see them and that’s enough. We really do appreciate all the time and effort you go to in bringing us along on these weekend getaways. Enjoyed your video as usual. I started watching bushcraft and camping videos when I was going through chemo for lymphoma. Anything about nature is healing. You are among hundreds that say editing videos are probaby one of the most time consuming things they have to do in between work and the subject. Occasionally, along comes a couch potato who wants an opportunity to make a negative nellie comment. I ignore them. Life is short enough as it is and at my age it is a pleasure to watch things I can no longer do easily and having done a lot of camping in my time, I appreciate the effort, expense and time you put into these videos. Some commentor has you confused with someone who does this full time. They have no clue how much time even a short video takes... and you have a full time job. I don't like long videos but for a few exceptions. Seeing the scenery, learning about different areas, and different types of camping is why I watch. Don't need the intricate details... your videos are just long enough. I appreciate those who are willing to share because it's helping me plan my next adventures. The scenery on this is the bomb!

Hi Kenny this is Dale. I really enjoy your vids! I’m a big camper here in Arizona. I am from Michigan . I joined the Air Force in 1975 and got stationed here in Arizona. I have been in aviation ever since. I am getting ready to retire from the FAA and come back east to do some camping during the nicer months. Watching your vids brings back many good memories when I camped as a teenager. Again , thank you for taking the time putting these vids together and sharing them. My boyfriend got me interested in your videos. I enjoy hearing about your camper routines, your love of coffee (me too!) and your resourcefulness. I'm sorry that you've had some inappropriate comments. They seem to be a hazard of social media these days. :( You're spending 20-30 hours in editing, plus a full-time job and not much sleep; that seems like a LOT, so I hope you love your weekends away and making the videos. Kenny you can't please everybody. You do a fantastic job as it is there is always someone moaning about something. They don't have to watch you're channel if they don't like it I think you do a fantastic job on what you do, plus you work full time as well. Kenny, You do a great job with your videos! People who are trying to pick apart your videos with suspicion of lying ,don't have a clue of how much work that is put into one video. With the setup , editing and final download,it isn't worth your time to address those comments. Thank you for putting out content in a sometimes thankless job!

How could anyone say that you are not honest or that something is fishy about your videos? I stream your videos because they are so peaceful and I get to live vicariously through you. The footage of the clouds, the lake and the turtles was beautiful. I really appreciate your work in these videos. You really have it all. You are camping, truck life living, cooking. What a great life you have!

I wish it would have come closer so I could capture it on video. There was one solo Loon on the lake. It flew over the campsite multiple times but wouldn't land near us.

I'm a country girl and surely enjoy your videos. I live in the city and really miss the dirt. My fur baby's name was Toby too. Lost him at 15 years. Please be vigilant about protection on your Toby for mosquitos. I've lost a pet from heartworms. It's horrific. Keep camping for us and your mental health! We love it! Be kind 😊 Luv from Texas

Thank you so much. I wasn't sure if I should have left that part in the video. I'm glad it's being received well. I don't know why people have to verbally attack each other when their ideas differ. I'm glad it's a small percentage. I try not to block people right away. But sometimes it's warranted. One guy actually left an apology the following day after going off on another commenter. He explained he was having a bad and was sorry. I want to give people the benefit of the doubt. Thank you so much for your support! It will definitely be put to good use. I am gonna pick up a trail camera with the donations. I think it will be cool to see what animals come into the campsite at night.

The shots of the rain hitting the water and the geese are exceptional. Toby is really coming into his own. He seems so much more comfortable and is playing and running all over. Kenny, there are so many wonderful comments about your content ; dont let a few stupid people give you even a moment of concern. You dont have to change a thing.I agree with everyone else that your videos are so peaceful and we know how much work goes into them. Look at all the people you make happy

Anybody who watches anything at all knows that these videos have to be edited and sliced together. What he should have said was thank you for spending your time with us and thank you for taking all of this time to edit and record when you could be just enjoying your weekend. You have definitely inspired my family and I to start looking at camping in other places besides the state parks. It is getting so hard to get into them anymore anyway. See you down the road!
