The price of the boat is about $190,000. The range on 200 gals of diesel is about 1600 miles. There is a very nice head with a fresh water toilet and shower. For those complaining about "rolling," get the Seakeeper stabilizer option for a mere $25,000.

Anyone owning a trawler type vessel and gets seasick has no business being at sa on such a fundamentally user-friendly vessel. I speak from many years of sea going experience as a professional marine. It took me 2 years of struggling to get over it but my goodness it's Ben an absolute pleasure since. I will own something lke this but possibly with sails á la Fisher class.

It looks like a great boat, a perfect Looper boat for one. What is the projected range? What about the usefulness of a dorade box/vent forward?

Range is roughly 1,800 NM at around 7 knots, so SeaPiper is truly a long range design. The forecabin offers three vents, two of which are passive (and closeable) and one solar powered vent. Additionally there are four opening port lights , one main escape hatch and the scuttle hatch above the entry.

Yeah this has all the advantages of a detached garage. I'm good thanks. What is the giant center cockpit for anyway?

I think it is center mounted because the center of the boat is where the least amount of roll and yaw occurs. This design choice is also where naval aircraft carriers place its Combat Direction Center. I think, but I admit i don't know.

Why only 85 hp? I’d think 10 knots would be better.

    is there a shower

Yes, it's in the head compartment, which is a "wet head." You pull the sink faucet out on a long hose and hang it from a fitting to use as a showerhead.

so if you need to go to the galley at night you have to go outside? if someone is sleeping in the pilothouse and need to use the head, they have to go outside and into the forward stateroom? and why is there a useless 3' cockpit and a galley so small only one person can be it it at a time? My 26' trawler has more usable space.

I agree with your thoughts. A small amount of people space for 35' of dock space and cost. From time to time rain falls, and moving from one compartment to another will be very unpleasant. Exposing oneself and the interior to mosquitoes while moving forth and back also leaves me cold. Not a practical design for North America, but perhaps the canals on the far side of the Atlantic are her true home. Regards, Prowess (Prowler 9M aft).

So to get from the helm/galley/saloon to the head and berths you have to go out on deck? Possibly in a storm? No thanks.

Exactly. Plus that open center takes away a third of what could have been cabin space. Very strange looking design, lets make a 35' boat feel like a 25' one.

How about you go belowdecks and m8ve forward or aft inside and in safety. More importantly would be to add 18" to 24" in beam, and add 2' to 3' in length to accommodate the new beam width.

@@paulpetruccelli9606 The narrow beam was the first thing that caught my attention on this boat. Would it ever sit still at anchor and not roll all the time?

Well, the fact is the First thing anyone needs to do upon taking delivery of this ship is to add a Bimini, with a dodger, over the center cockpit. With today's climate change, Nobody would be able to sit out there in sunlight, they would burn up. A retractable Bimini and you're good to go....
