The Skype questions are only a diversion to avoid real questions. You got people from NPR and other radio organizations in that room. If that talk show host wanted to, he could get access into the correspondents room and its not fair that other members of the media that go all the way out there has to wait behind some douche who doesn't question trump authority anyway.

I don't think there is anything inherently absurd in the usage of Skype or other online tools by the Press Secretary just as there is nothing inherently absurd about executive orders; both can be misused but that doesn't make the basic idea unsound. Allowing the press to communicate with the white house over Skype has a huge positive potential. It could give access to those who lack the funds, resources, or even physical ability to travel to DC. With the current budget and staffing problems facing most newspapers (who still do the bulk of the investigative work) that could mean the difference between having a true press corps and the possibility of seeing these conferences become exclusive to the top media corporations. The problem is in it's current implementation we've only seen it used to bring in supporting view points and sycophants rather than promoting open conversation. What's needed is a system created by people dedicated to an independent, unfettered press. One that allows for opposition while still recognizing the difference between punditry and journalism. Unfortunately, this administration does not seem interested in any of that, sullying what could be a positive move towards inclusion and free press. Of course, the white house could have achieved a similar effect without bringing in Skype; remember that for a while there we're reports of the press not being given a place on the white house grounds at all. Skype is simply a tool, and so far this administration seems to be seriously misusing that tool as a means of pure propaganda but then almost every news source from print to television has been similarly abused at some point by someone. Just to be clear I'm not supporting Sean Spicer's attempts to deflect real questions by bringing in bias pundits; I just believe that the idea of using Skype to broaden access to the white house could be beneficial to the press's access to information which is critical in maintaining a democracy. It will be a shame if the idea is forever associated with this type of partisan behavior and not given a chance in the future.

I was thinking,since the U.S invaded his country,he must hate America. But know, this guy from Baghdad, who barely speaks English, told me he love America, for saving his families."love" he said. Another day I walked in to a classroom, I observed that the class have every race, every religion in it. black, white, Chinese, British, German, Indian all study science together, to unlock their potentials , to discuss their ideas. and our teacher is from Iran, it's almost like a small planet, and it's beautiful in some way. It's the perfect proof to attack those who suggest there can be no peace between different countries, religions, and cultures. A similar thing happened a few weeks ago. During a protest for the young woman from New York whos arm was nearly blown off at standing rock a flag was burnt and fox did a segment on it. Directly afterwards Trump tweeted saying that flag burners should face a year in prison or loss of citizenship.
