The fact that you and so many other war mongers can casually accuse those who pressure for peace as appeasers to Putin is telling. He interjects his Oscar into this. Flying over with impunity. And Zelensky is on tour much of the time. When we leave off supporting this needless war how many Ukrainians will be left? For 5 years Johnson said we were making progress in Vietnam. When we left there 58k us servicemen were lost, 2million southeast Asian civilians were dead and countless other's lives destroyed. After 20 years in Afghanistan we've given it back to the Taliban. Glad to see Penn helping along another 'big win' for humanity!

    One of the most striking, utterly memorable use of communication to the Ukrainian people and actually the world was when Zelenskyy and his Cabinet were out in the street and zelenskyy simply said, “We are here here.” And he names the men standing with him, the message being they aren’t going anywhere. Talk had been that Zelenskyy and the government should flee but instead they were there, period. Sean Penn can remind us,what we need to know. and I thank him for that.

    @leemdynamo I totally agree with you. I've seen reports that we are spending an average of 3% of our overall military budget assisting Ukraine in the war against Russia. Our government wastes more money than that in any given year. I'd rather financially support Ukrainians who are putting their hearts and souls into this fight than see any more American soldiers entering a war on behalf of a NATO country if Russia decides to attack Poland next. It seems obvious to me that Putin is getting desperate hosting the North Korean dictator this week. An alliance between those two cannot be good for anyone.

  • @keep-ukraine-free528

    @keep-ukraine-free528

    There's a lie floating around that it costs us a lot to help Ukraine. It costs us pittance. Compared to either our Govt budget or our national economic GDP, the money spent (only $77 billion across 2 yrs) is TINY. It's tiny, but it also helps our military greatly. We are "giving" (indirectly, thru our allies) F-16 fighters. They're one of our oldest tech in our military -- we don't use or need it. In fact, it costs us billions to decommission our oldest military tech, so sending it for free in-fact saves us money. The fuller picture is even better - our economy really expands/gets money from this. After our allies give their old F-16s/other military tech to Ukraine (these are still very useful & powerful for Ukraine), those allies will need replacement jets -- many of which they'll get from us. So by giving old F-16s & other old (nearing obsolescence) military tech, our economy grows. Our total cost is very little, AND WE'RE STOPPING A BULLY WHO INTENDS TO GO THROUGH UKRAINE, STRAIGHT FOR OUR FRIENDS IN EUROPE.

    yes he is totally misguided. 15years american prepeared the ground for war in ukraine and use ukraine to weaken russia for geopolitical supremacy. NATO did exactly what ussr did in cuba and contrary to cuba where ussr back down usa double up. Russian only asked ukraine neutrality. not much more. while ukraine was killing russian speaker and minsk aaccord were not respected but nobody care about that eitherl. this war is a disgrace and a set up and the sooner the peace not by arm but by negociation the better .
